Guest LeeParkie Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Priceless!! Surprised Shrek didnt pick it up and eat it!
Guest redmilky Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Whilst it was funny i was very hungry at the time and it didnt help. (why did the ref make a point of noting it, i doubt it was hot enough to have hurt him)
ricflairandy Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I wish it was me. However, it was rooneys granny throwing his dinner(not sure if she was his actual gran or not)
DonRafa Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 It was completely unnesessary............. .........he's already got mad cow disease
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Someone must have brought it into the ground and waited for Shrek to come over before throwing it, but since Shrek never came to that side they lost patience and lashed it at the next best thing.
Guz Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Whoever it was missed the target again, it's been our problem all season. Coat..
Cobs Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 (why did the ref make a point of noting it, coins were thrown too
Falconhoof Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Will the club get into trouble for this ? Call me a miserable b*****d if you like, i don't care, but I hate things like that because I don't want any excuse for the press to label us.
Dublinred4ever Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Coins were thrown at Gerrard form the United fans when he was taking a corner at the Anny Road end
Guest Johnny Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Do they sell burgers in the ground? Its very strange if they dont.
Guest Kev Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Coins were thrown at Gerrard form the United fans when he was taking a corner at the Anny Road end And here he is picking them up.
Guz Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Coins were thrown at Gerrard form the United fans when he was taking a corner at the Anny Road end Its all a bit stupid really. I know it was only a burger and that was harmless but footballers dont deserve to have things thrown at them in general. Verbal abuse and chanting is one thing but objects thrown by fans is another imo.
Nebraska Red Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 commentator over here (ian darke?) called it an unsavory incident. it must have been a tasteless burger. ref signalled to the 4th official to ensure it was noted in a report.
Bootle Buck Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Neville wasn't happy at all. He ordered one with Mustard and the one he got was without.
Mad_Fer_It Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Gerrard that money grabbing b*****d! lol
Maldini Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Maybe that stupid celebration he did at Old Trafford was some kind of tribal food dance
floyd Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Shock. Horror. Liverpool's Chief Executive Rick Parry has been arrested and charged with throwing a burger at Gary Neville in Saturday's highly charged FA cup tie at Anfield. Liverpool FC have declined to comment on the unsavoury incident.
John am Rhein Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I know it was only a burger and that was harmless but footballers dont deserve to have things thrown at them in general. Yes they do!
Falconhoof Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Should we go back to fences then to stop things being thrown at footballers ?
owenthomas Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 i wouldn't waste my s*** on Neville so f***ed if i'd lash a burger at him..
