When Harry clattered the Inbred at the start

That would have been a yellow if the ref wasn't concerned for birthday boy's welfare after the little nudge from Harry. The assistant ref flagged for that challenge but thought better of talking to the ref about it. 'Twas a class challenge.

I couldn't help thinking about what someone posted on here the other day - that Neville always does the same thing himself to someone else in the first few minutes, as its unlikely to get a yellow so early on.

Think Harry read it too :D

Best time to do it too, right at the start.

Yep.

Probably totally threw a bag full of spanners in the works of Neville's likely determination to shut the crowd out of his mind and concentrate on his game.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Gary, happy birthday to you!

To be honest I don't think Kewell ran through Neville to curry favour with the Liverpool fans....I think all of the Liverpool players were pissed off with Neville and his comments on Liverpool and also his 'celebration' in the previous game. I think every other Liverpool player given the chance would have done exactly the same thing as Kewell did. Kewell was just in the right place at the right time and took the opportunity presented.

Nah, Kewell was gunning for him. Piece in the paper Friday from Kewell tearing Neville to shreds and warning him about Saturday. He knew what he was doing alright.

Kewell's really added some balls to his game this year. I've lost count of the number of times he's been back helping the LB and often making important tackles, some quite robust.

Think back to the Newcastle game where he flattened Bowyer off the ball.

Harry was ceratinly up for the battle with Neville. I also noticed Riise getting stuck into Shrek a few times. A couple of times Shrek caught Risse and he went right back at him. Certainly no love lost there.
