Shambles actually - is looking almost like a decent centre half these days!

 

As for that Serbian bloke, I'm of the opinion that centre half is probably the worst position to play in for a 'new' player to the league - specially the foreign ones who ain't used to the bang n crash ways of the oh so unstylish Prem! For a centre half even the smallest error looks like the worst error ever.

Thought Wes Brown was worse, he got away with two clearances which nearly ended up in his own net.

 

First one when he tried to whack it clear off his foot, totally spooned it and flew back over his own bar. Second one was the diving header at the Kop end from a cross.

Vidic was a lot smaller than I thought he'd be when you actually see him live.

 

I wasn't impressed with him at all, but the pace of that game probably would have been a shock to any player with little experience of the English game.

 

Too early to make any definitive judgement on Vidic I'd say. Bramble on the other hand, has been consistently abysmal for years now; there's no doubting his credentials...

Brown was awful and as usual had that bemused look on his face. I would hate to play alongside him. I don't think Van de Sar helps either. He is errtic as feck and seems to always make a hash of something in every game.

Think he's been dropped because he struggling with his defensive duties in the big boys league.
