a load near me were giving him abuse.. and singing the 'new' JAR song... but three minutes before it happened I remember him going in elbows first on one of our players.... never been a fan of his and hope its not too serious... but lets not let it ruin our celebrations...

He should have been booked for encroachment, he was only about 2 yards from Riise when the ball hit him.

Thats what I thought, said to my mate "Well maybe he'll obey the rules next time". Hope he has a speedy recovery but i'm not going to lie I think the lad is a vicious prick and I couldnt care less to be honest.

Riise wasn't the one taking the free kick in the first place, so I don't think Smith was too close to the ball when the kick was taken. Looked a horrible leg break.

Ironically Alan Smith is just about the only person associated with that excrement of an imitation of a football club who I wouldn't wish such a bad injury on.

Still he joined the scum voluntarily so f*ck him.

may his recovery be slow and steady. hopefully those manc c***s will have to pay his wages until he'd ready to play again then he can f*** off and leave then.

hits the mancs where they understand.

I admit, I did laugh when people started singing "Always look on the bright side of life" as he was going off.
