Barnesy_10 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 a load near me were giving him abuse.. and singing the 'new' JAR song... but three minutes before it happened I remember him going in elbows first on one of our players.... never been a fan of his and hope its not too serious... but lets not let it ruin our celebrations...
Wazz Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 He should have been booked for encroachment, he was only about 2 yards from Riise when the ball hit him.
Andy-oh-six Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 don't like the guy but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Horrific.
CarraLegend Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 He should have been booked for encroachment, he was only about 2 yards from Riise when the ball hit him. Thats what I thought, said to my mate "Well maybe he'll obey the rules next time". Hope he has a speedy recovery but i'm not going to lie I think the lad is a vicious prick and I couldnt care less to be honest.
Mike Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 He should have been booked for encroachment, he was only about 2 yards from Riise when the ball hit him. imagine if he'd have booked him after that
aceface9 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I hate the cvnt but at the same time I hope all is well in his recovery.
Guest mightyreds Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 f@ck 'im. he's a dirty c+nt.not very nice even if he's man u player, would'nt wish that on any player.Shows HOW GOOD SPORT YOU ARE.
Guest Sabre Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 From what I know of him from friends of his famly he is a decent lad - doesn't drink and keeps out of trouble. Hope the lad gets better soon.
Huyton_Red Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 He may never play again, its that bad the injury, those criticising him are a disgrace I hope he makes a full recovery and wish him all the best
RedMersey Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 He should have been booked for encroachment, he was only about 2 yards from Riise when the ball hit him.Riise wasn't the one taking the free kick in the first place, so I don't think Smith was too close to the ball when the kick was taken. Looked a horrible leg break.
KopSpice Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 It was a horrendous injury; wouldn't wish it on anyone even Gary Neville! Hope he makes a speedy recovery.
muleskinner Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I know how he is feeling I had the same injury a couple of years back. He'll be morphined up to the eyes at the moment so it's not all bad.
Guest TanMan Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 (edited) cant stand the jumped up little schit meself but i wouldn't wish that injury on any footballer hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. Concurred, well with the full recovery bit anyway Edited February 18, 2006 by TanMan
John am Rhein Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Ironically Alan Smith is just about the only person associated with that excrement of an imitation of a football club who I wouldn't wish such a bad injury on. Still he joined the scum voluntarily so f*ck him.
SkippyjonJones Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 may his recovery be slow and steady. hopefully those manc c***s will have to pay his wages until he'd ready to play again then he can f*** off and leave then. hits the mancs where they understand.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I admit, I did laugh when people started singing "Always look on the bright side of life" as he was going off.

John am Rhein Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I said to the Mrs during the match that Paul Scholes was a decent fella too Did she punch you in the face?
Guest Sabre Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Did she punch you in the face? No, she said, "That little ginger one?" to which I laughed and said, "No, not Anny Road. The other ginger one."
Barnesy_10 Posted February 18, 2006 Author Posted February 18, 2006 my manc mate calls him 'Smiffy' which was how he was known by the Leeds faithful.... makes me sick hearing mancs calling him Smiffy.... grrrr.. cringeworthy..

Tosh Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Looks like Sven will now have to rethink the midfield...
