Guardian: Clicky

Here's the relevant bit...

"You get the feeling the other players all get on but you can imagine Neville not even wanting to sit on the same bus as a Liverpool player, let alone be civil," one Liverpool fan wrote on the You'll Never Walk Alone website this week. "Maybe it's something to do with him being born in Bury," someone else suggested. "He isn't really a proper Mancunian, so he thinks he has to try harder."

If the broadsheets read the forums, I wonder where the tabloid rags get some of their transfer rumours, sorry exclusives, from

The point about him trying harder because he's from Bury is a good one. Hitler was an Austrian who wanted to be German, Stalin was a Georgian trying to be Russian and Neville is a Bury manc. Horrible bunch all three of 'em.

"When I was growing up there was certainly a large amount of jealousy involved," Neville once confessed. "The truth is, I envied them for all the success their team was having."

You better be prepared for some more jealousy then Gary.

Harry Harris - the 'Doyen of Football' if you're reading or shown this - can I be the first to say on behalf of all football fans not associated with Roman Abramovitch - you are the biggest, fattest, ugliest, most arrogant, brillo-haired know-nothing c*nt ever to be employed by any newspaper anywhere.

One more thing - if Gerrard should get injured - WE don't give a flying f*ck how it effects England's chances, ok?

I would like to add Paul McCarthy to this list, but he threw me yesterday on Chinny Hill by being complimentry about us, but as one swallow doesn't make a summer, he too, if reading this, can f*** off
