We didnt even have to fight or bully them like others have had to, we simply outclassed them with football. I cringed at his comments, even Arsenal fans are probably embarassed.

Stanley Leisure Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 From a preening and ineffectual midfielder? We don't need it. To be fair to him - if i was playing for a club going through a massive decline, about to lose their best ever player and was also more famous for my undies than my footie skills, i'd be just as bitchy about our revival.

Sky bloke.."ha ha ha ha ha ha you what? ha ha ha ha...you f***ing loon...you were outplayed d****ead...ahem...So Thierry Henry..."
Herbie von Smalls Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 surely he's not trying to deflect attention away from his own wretched performance on the pitch?

L19red Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 he's still pissed off because he thought he had scored the winner in 2001. Unlucky freddie, a goal in the 87th minute won the cup and a goal in the 87th minute won the three points on Wednesday.
Guest KD2OO4 Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Its interesting that "Lemon" has an infinately different view of the game Jens Lehmann has admitted that Liverpool were deserved winners over Arsenal on Tuesday. Arsenal threw in one of their most lacklustre performances of the season, but only succumbed to a late goal from substitute Luis Garcia. German keeper Lehmann produced a string of fine saves during the Anfield contest and admits to lose in such circumstances was tough to accept - particularly as a late Neil Mellor goal gave The Reds victory last season. "It is very disappointing as it happened the last time we played Liverpool and again this time," said Lehmann. "I think it shows how strong both teams are, but I think Liverpool deserved the win as they had a lot of good chances."
Nerik Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Well said Lehmann. He touched the ball more times than Freddie did.
