No they dont. Virtually the whole country (except the blues and mancs) loved it, nearly every football fan lapped it up. Listen to 606 after the final, fans of all kinds of clubs coming on and congratulating us. Read the praise the whole club and fans got after the semi final and how much jubilation there was, how much respect and admiration the kop had won back.

I may be making a complete fool of myself here, but I am certain i listened to John Champion and Robbie Earle on Foxtel - but it was early so maybe my ears weren't tuned in properly!!!

 

What I thought I heard Earle going on about was how Henry had to work harder especially away from home, he may be right of course, but I would be a bit upset if I was Henry listening to a player like Earle telling me how to play, hardly the same class are they.

How many media outlets have given us true credit as euroepan champions in this country? Yes a few neutrals watched and gave us credit, but no one in the spin machines at the media . They all try and make us out to be lucky unworthy champions who cannot really be called the champions of europe. They try and disregard us when the big 3 is mentioned (the same big 3 that arsenal are still in). And once they cotton on to that im sure they will change it to the big 2, or if we finsh 2nd it will become the big 1.

 

Despite this most of the european media do regard us as worthy champions and a massive club .
