Henry wants to play in the Champions League because he thinks it is his birth right. He is holding out for a new contract to see if Arsenal qualify but is doing nothing to make sure that they qualify. Henry has been the biggest let-down this season. Almost so much that it feels like a betrayal. Henry does not work hard, does not motivate the team, is extremely lazy on the pitch . He would not chase nothing balls even if to force a mistake, he would not run onto knock-downs from Adebayor because they are not DIRECTLY in his path and complain. Reyes, van Persie and Theo Walcott will run for nothing balls. He makes token, show gestures of defending, doesn't run into the box when the only thing on is a cross, he stops to get the ball to his feet instead of attempting a header so the move dies. He plays back-heel passes against Liverpool at 0-0, moans at everyone who doesn't give him the ball and demands a place in the Champions League.

15 in 20 is right I think. Didnt realise it was that much either, awesome strike rate especially considering the number of times he's been criticised this season.

I've been comparing his situation with gerrard's last season in my head for a while.

 

Arsenal fans will be pissed off with him as they watch him week in and week out but the rest of the world will just be going on about how henry is too good for them and that will piss arsenal fans off the most when they contrast it with a lot of his performances

I compare it more to the Owen situation in 03/04. 1yr left on contract at the end of the season. Same body language, talk of Champs Lge etc.
