Dan Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ...ever been seen celebrating any of our goals? I honestly can't remember seeing him crack a smile or punch the air when we've scored......or even at a final whistle! He's got to be the most focused manager around on this point.
Benitez Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 last season v's Arsenal - he gave a thumbs up after Xabi's goal - thats as close as it's come! Pako does enough goal celebrating for the two of them.

anny road Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 he was giddy last night..applauding all sides of the ground thats ecstatic for him
Spion kop Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 he has no emotion, he only has one expression ANGER
Frosty Jack Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I always expect George Sephton to play the A-Team theme to accompany "operation anfield".

Figaro Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 he was renowed at Valencia for being a miserable bar steward so I don't see why he should change, particularly as he has to see you lot staring at him week in, week out...
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 doesn't appear to be any footage of the ECF though. I'd love to see how he reacted to each goal & the pens

I'd love to see how he reacted to each goal & the pens there is a clip of him making the rounds, when Dude makes the final save, and Alex Miller flings himself at him! But he's still very restrained Also, in that book by Guillem Ballague I think it is, there are some brief interviws with Pako, and there he says that he was hugging Rafa when Xabi scored. I wish that the TV cameras had picked up more of it though, it's a shame, cos usually it's a regular shot - the dug out right at the end of a peno shoot out, yet they fecers didn't even bother with it!

Bigal Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 "We won" he writes down I rather him not bouncing around like Martin O'neil
Mono Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 The annoying thing is Sky were doing the Istanbul footage for all and they had a camera trained on Ancelotti for all three goals. And although there's a great shot of Ancellotti after goal number 2 for us and the crowd behind him comes into focus then, it's us going mental, I don't recall anyway Rafa footage

Guest Jude Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Always thought Rafa was a miserable sod, then i saw Mike Newell when Luton scored against us ,now that was miserable.

sbaros Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I've never seen him celebrate a goal, he does however often celebrate after the game, probably just want's to keep the focus and doesn't wanna get carried away in celebrating
Spike Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Rafa never celebrates. He only wins trophies so he can look forward to the next one. I honestly think the guy is that focused that only by being the greatest ever will he be satisfied.
