Montse Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Not a jot - even looked on the Adidas website, guess it will come out in the wash.
floyd Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Most fans will know our previous proud heritage with the Club and that we have delivered some of their most iconic shirts to date. Yeah right
Ibby Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 wonder how much it would cost to replace the white seating that was the large reebok logo in the anny road end? adidas better pay for that or else!!
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 on principle, I feel soiled having the same shirt manufacturer as Chelsea and Real MadridI hope to God we don't adopt Real's uppercase, lowercase lettering on the player names.
Atticus Finch Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I hope to God we don't adopt Real's uppercase, lowercase lettering on the player names. But it is perfect for their BiG nAmE players
stressederic Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Shirt always remind's me of Ronny Rosenthal Hitting the bar against Villa?
fyds Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Weren't we getting £10m a year off Reebok? We were - plus bonuses when they could actually bring themselves to pay them. Cym - before too many anti-Parryism's - keep an eye on the naming rights with this too, just in case...
Guest sokong Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 This is definitely a good news!!! We might see some sharp improvement in LFC's merchandise sales in the Middle East and also in countries like Malaysia , Indonesia where previously Reds shirt with Carlsberg on it is considered as inapproriate to wear
live Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 taken from anfield road, has some rumors about the deal ......around 130 million lbs doesn't say for how many years http://www.anfieldroad.com/news/latest/200...a34203029b.html
Maldini Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 taken from anfield road, has some rumors about the deal ......around 130 million lbs doesn't say for how many years http://www.anfieldroad.com/news/latest/200...a34203029b.htmlIIRC it was a two year deal with a probable 8-year extension assuming there are no major hiccups during that two years
R A Softlad Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 ...A little too iconic Or too little iconic if you look at the Liverbird.
Siang Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 IIRC it was a two year deal with a probable 8-year extension assuming there are no major hiccups during that two years you know, Maldini, they (Adidas) should just sign us up for the next 10 years given that we will be ones winning trophies after trophies for season after season...
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 you know, Maldini, they (Adidas) should just sign us up for the next 10 years given that we will be ones winning trophies after trophies for season after season... This is great news. I always though the ancilliary addidas wear was much nicer than anything Reebok done for us. A nice red three stripe liverbird polo top will do nicely thanks.

Guest westang Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Don't know if anyone knows that Adidas have recently bought Reebok........same owners.......different logo I guess with reebok getting a new NBA contract they are going to step down in football business anyway. and personally i love the design of adidas kits miles better; hope they really come up with a unique shirt design for us
Tim Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 we were getting about £12m minimum from reebok with upto £5m extra based on success. We were due to get just about the maximum from last year before reebok decided to withhold some of it.
Montse Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 I know the images of the kit have been on the net for a while but this is the first time I've seen it 'in the flesh' as it were and it looks damn good! From ere
