4411 Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 After coming out and condemning cheating and diving I think it was disrespectful what some Liverpool players did tonight towards the manager, especially Morientes for his blatant dive for the penalty and Kewell for going down way too easily on many occasions. If you want to erase cheating and diving from the game, you have to start looking at your own team first before judging others, the two of them made Benitez look like a fool when he was asked about certain incidents.
Mad_Fer_It Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes didnt dive, it was a dodgy penalty, but it wasnt easy to keep his balance after that push...
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes didn't dive for the penalty, are you blind? He was pushed over, harsh, harsh but fair. Like the Russian police.
Guest Kev Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes didn't dive, it was a penalty. As for Kewell, he didn't dive either but there were a few times that he got the decision.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Yeah, Kewell didn't dive today either. He has dived before though. I notice that Momo has cut out his diving as well.

abc Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes is just a weakling. Though the Eboue fella did shove him away with the elbow. Not a penalty though IMO.

fyds Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 He certainly made the most of it anyway! He tried to stay on his feet ffs - the shove he got turned him round 90 degrees while running at the ball.

What are you talking about, stick to Valentine movies as you were not watching the game
Guest Ant Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Alot my bluenose mates mention this, and they have a point. I said to them, diving is one thing, getting another player sent off is another, that would of been a better thing to say on Rafa's part.
anny road Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 technically it was a pen but it was soft and you have to allow some contact if that is a pen you wuld have 12323 free kicks a game
Bigal Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 technically it was a pen but it was soft and you have to allow some contact if that is a pen you wuld have 12323 free kicks a game your freekick number is dropping rapidly
boohog Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Riise DID dive though, when Ljungberg got past him in the first half Morientes didn't dive. Riise did dive though and I hope he gets b******ed for it.

realtarragona Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes just lost his balance but it was definitely not a penalty.

Muppetry abounds.
Earl Hafler Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Morientes just lost his balance but it was definitely not a penalty. It was a foul. It wasn't a shoulder bargeMorientes is going for the ball, Eboue isn't and pushes Morientes out the way with his arm. The only thing odd about it is that it was given. Andy Gray called it a " coming together ".
