Makes one wonder what Citeh were up to with him for the last 6 months or so. I know he was injured, but surely they could have forced him to do some weights or something. Early on in the first half the ball was on our left, about 40 yards from goal. Fowler made a move towards the penalty spot then dropped off, ran towards the fullback and then back in towards goal to meet the cross...defenders didn't have a ****ing clue what was happening.

th eone thing that hasnt left Fowler is the fact that he almost always makes the keeper work. our strikers dont do that enough at the minute. i would still like to see him play alongside Crouch though. i think those two could be a very compatible strikeforce

Fair enough point I suppose. Just seems amazing that he was back in their squad since early January and his physical condition seemed miles off what it should have been and obviously Rafa's first priority has been to get that right.

Not really, he wasnt out of contract or a free transfer picked up from no club, he was a player that City let go for no fee. On the day he signed it was on their website how it was part of the deal that he couldnt play against them.
