Ombudsam Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 We could have moaned and moaned about that for ages with legitimacy on our side but we didn't attempt to mask the issue that we just weren't playing very well. It's that sort of attitude that i think will turn us around which was hopefully a process started against wigan. I loved Ged but towrds the end of his reign that refereeing issue would have dominated but it doesn't now. We can only fix our own problems and once we do that then we can feel pissed off.

I caint think of any other manager who would have said that

anny road Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Keegan, Pearce etc.....pretty honest managers. keegan would have been babbling about god knows what and he isnt a manager anymore Pearce well maybe
Cunny Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 do you mean after the match?cos during the game, Carra moaned like hell before and after the penalty was taken.
anny road Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 do you mean after the match?cos during the game, Carra moaned like hell before and after the penalty was taken. i think he means after no one has used it as an excuse as some managers esp the likes of Allardyce, Ferguson and that c*** Moyes would hve done
marty Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Think Chris Coleman is the most honest manager in the premiership
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Think Chris Coleman is the most honest manager in the premiership Wenger the anti-honest.
vish Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) Think Chris Coleman is the most honest manager in the premiership He loves to moan when they lose... but when they win, he can't get enough of himself. Having a go at the linesman after watching a TV replay from the dugout last week was WELL out of order. I f***ing hate Coleman. Edited February 14, 2006 by Vish
Hassony Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Think Chris Coleman is the most honest manager in the premiershipi like coleman, i think he is doing a good job at fulham despite not being backed up like tigana was.
Jiggy Hates Jazz Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Having a go at the linesman after watching a TV replay from the dugout last week was WELL out of order. Yeah but that mistake was criminal. Van Nistelhorse (I think it was him) was a at least 2 yards offside and the linesman was parallel. I don't think many managers would have controlled themselves in that situation - Rafa and Pearce included

Puma Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Managers should not be watching the replays on the touchline in my opinion. Can only lead to problems... I think it's diffucult to stop it to be honest. I feel there is legitimate reason to let a 4th official rule offside and goal clearence cases within a 10 second timeframe if a goal is scored. If not it's deemed irrelevant and regarding pens and fauls the ref has the final say. I'm sure a reasonable system can be thought up. Coleman had watched the reply and stood up within 15 seconds of the goal and there was no question about it - it was never a goal.
