Really shocked at how many, normally mild mannered and calm reds are talking about the FA cup game against Utd on Saturday

I was amazed at how many people where going on about potential 'kicks offs' at half time at the Wigan game

I think this one is gonna be as tasty outside the ground as it is in it.

Me, I will be keeping away from it all and watching from a distance with my flask and butties.

No need to talk about things like this on the internet.

yes there is, this is a liverpool FC fans website and this is something that could affect liverpool FC fas

weren't you on here a while back saying how there is no violence at football anymore?

it could get nasty on saturday. i hope it doesnt, but i think it might

yes I was, which is why I said I was shocked to here the way people where speaking at Wigan

Dont think to much will happen myself, probably be a few incidents here and there but nothing major. It'd likely be carnage at their place if it goes to a reply on a weeknight.

so are there rumours about trouble being planned?? i remember a site by some "liverpool fans"....cant remember the name, nor do i want to...but they are a hate group based in liverpool

no they aren't

so it's a pointless discussion then

not true, for example, some lads maybe taking youngsters with them etc and this may help them if for example they want to take them over to the Hillsborough memorial before kick off etc

It won't. They keep them in for ages after the match anyway.

The Merseyside Police are probably/possibly the most clued up and effective police force in the country regarding football matches. They will be ready for the majority of things.

Surely that award goes to the Greater Manchester Police, after the way they handled Old Trafford the other week, and the warm, friendly welcome we got at Wigan?:rolleyes:

That must have just been you, the coppers I spoke to at Wigan were fine and approachable.

However, The Greater Manchester Police are hooligans in uniform when it comes to Scousers, even our coppers know that.

Yes we will.

I suspect the usual 30-40 minutes.

The whole area is cleared before we let them out.

Pity they don't take the same care of away fans at the Theatre of g*******s.

Ferguson must think you are from the BBC. That kind of mistake can happen if you are a drunken old thick head.
