McBain Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Dudek has had some tough times since Istanbul and then again in midweek but I was chufed to see him do well today And Didi's return to the team for me was the difference today. His calm passing and experience under pressure are vital, and I hope he has a run in the team now.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Needs to play more. Sissoko is still far too raw for my liking, particularly against the better sides.
Kite Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 He showed his experience today and it was vital. We were struggling to hold the ball in the last 15 but there was one moment when he was out on the right flank and he didn't rush, kept the ball and won us a foul. He's a great player.Yeah, that incident stood out for me too. It was very significant at the time, too, to keep possession - something that he is brilliant at when fit and on form.
abc Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Hamann's passing is so underrated. He was excellent yesterday, but I think the pace (or lack) of the game suited him perfectly. I love the fella, he's a legend in my eyes. The most consistent big game player we've had in the past...don't know how long.
