Guest Kev Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Got to say I've not been impressed on the whole of our transfer dealings in the last two transfer windows. Reina was the obvious plus, but not much else for me. What about the rest of you ?

Stevie H Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 very pleased with reina, sissoko, crouch, zenden, kromkamp and agger. tbc on fowler.
Superjay Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 To be fair i was just chuffed to come through the last window without and gerrard spec. Happy enough....not fantastic but good enough for the time being.
vish Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I'm happy with reina, sissoko, zenden, kromkamp & fowler not too sure crouch is good enough for our ambitions. unhappy we haven't got any kind of right midfielder, which has led to playing players out of position.

This summer will tell us alot about Rafa and whether Liverpool will be challenging Chelsea or not. I just hope he doesnt do a Houllier and buys 2 or 3 expensive players from some african country just because they had a good world cup.
IgPig Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I think of all the players we've bought in the last 2 have improved the squad and were needed.
McBain Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Reina - Very pleased Sissoko - Started off happy but he hasn't played well all year Zenden - Not enough time to assess but for a free you cant argue Crouch - Was desperate for us not to sign him and everything i've seen since he joined has confirmed what I feared Agger - No way of knowing Kromkamp - See above Fowler - Delighted more for him than the club. My gut feeling is he wont be here next season

Delighted to see Robbie back too, remians to be seen whether its a good move or not. Certainly not a bad move. The last 3 transfer windows have all been pretty decent apart from Owen leaving. Certainly better than the few transfer windows before those. Edited February 9, 2006 by t1971
Eiler99 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Very happy with Reina, Sissoko, Fowler and Agger. Crouch looks to be a decent signing. Still not decided on Kromkamp and Zenden.

matty Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Time to judge the transfer window is at the end of the season. As Mao Tse Tung might have said "it's far too early to tell."

But overall he hasn't surprised me, I felt the same as you before we signed him..

realtarragona Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) Reina - Fine Agger, Kromkamp - Dunno yet. Pleased Agger is meant to be a 'ball playing defender' for what it's worth. Zenden - Ok for a free. Won't be arsed if he leaves in the summer. Crouch - Good player on his day but needs a goalscorer (or at least more support) up there along with him. Sissoko - Good signing, plenty of potential but right now can be frustrating Fowler - Was made up but dunno yet whether that was based solely on sentimental reasons Edited February 9, 2006 by realtarragona
Guest ziggystardust Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 i think crouch has played well up to jan, just seems to be fading slightly.

I think he's a good signing. Wasn't a world beater in the autumn and he's not the worst player in the country now.
