Hightown Phil Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 It was half way at the bottom of Skerries Road when I swapped with my mate at half six. God knows where it will be now. Be sold out within about 3 hours this.
Guest roger Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 My lad got there at 430am. They opened the gates and he only just got through them. 4am was the time to arrive.

It's a good job we've got ours because faced with that scenario, I'd honestly not bother. Still, on the positive side, it should be a cracking atmos with what everyone's had to go through to experience it all.

Guest SteMano Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Can I take it there's no point in ringing up then? I'm getting fecking nowhere.Keep trying as I got through and got 4. I just constantly refreshed the online sales page and hey presto. It's slow though.
psl Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I got through and couldn't work out how to get more than one. My mate is registered as a 'friend' and we're both fancard holders. How do you do it?
Guest Fireborn Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 What's the phone number for tickets? I tried the number on the online page, but all I get it the CL ticket line, saying there's no tickets for sale :/

How do you do it? Type 2 in the tickets box. The next screen has drop down boxes- both with your name in. Change one to his name.
psl Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Type 2 in the tickets box. The next screen has drop down boxes- both with your name in. Change one to his name. It didn't have two drop down boxes. Just said error when I put in 2. I then tried to buy just one and it said I was timed out. Demoralised now!
Guest ziggystardust Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 what you should have done is get your bird to go down at 6, like me, paid dividends.
suzyv Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 just back from ainfield got there 6am queue half way down skerries road dont now if they opened up early but they moved us a long at 7 and we were by the liverpool shop got my tickets at 9.20 not much choice if you wanted tickets together got 1 in the kop and 3 in lower centenary anny road end think they will all be gone now or soon anyway
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Can't be arsed, especially since I did the same with Chelsea. It's on tele anyway.
The Hitman Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Struggling with the phone for the past few hours. No chance methinks.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Think I'll phone up on the day of the match and see if there are any returns - one or two of me mates got tickets for Chelsea in the CL earlier in the season this way.
psl Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Been on the phone since half eight. Time to give up I reckon. No half six train from London, no £80 or so expense. Just get up, wander down the pub and watch us beat the Mancs.
The Hitman Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Keep trying, you never know what'll happen.I was on the verge of giving up on the a*** game and it came through.
Guest snez1 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- f***ing disgrace. Am so pissed off right now it's untrue. 4 hours of sitting at a screen and being told "cannot find the server" and an hour of phoning with no success.Absaloute f***ing pisstake. I understand they couldn't allocate the tickets for previous F.A Cup ties but what was stopping them going off the amount of home games/ Champions League games people had been too? At least there would have been SOME loyalty. I'm not going to make out like i never miss a match because i'm a f***in skint student whose father never had a hand me down season ticket but i go to as many matches as humaly possible and usually que outside the ground for hours on me f***in bill. I've only been to 8 home games this season but at least i f***ing go and make the effort whenever possible. Instead some cockney c*** who has a faster internet connection than me is going to be going to his first ever Liverpool game, red bagging it for the f***ing day chanting "EASY" and "STAND UP IF U H8 MAN U". f*** OFF LIVERPOOL FC.

Oh dear. Perhaps it's just as well you didn't get one. Self-justification is no recommendation my friend and to be honest, you sound like the jester-hat wearing knob-headed half-hearter quick to tell "his" team to f*** off that is better off staying well away from the ground at all times. Ever thought of another sport to go and watch?
