Taken off...for Pavon, who tries a 45 yard Xabiesque pass across his own defence which goes straight to a Zaragoza player and they score. Ewerthon was brilliant. Scored a fantastic goal to round it off.

 

The commentators were criticising the defenders for a poor display but Casillas wasn't exactly brilliant. Like Reina, he's a fantastic shot stopper and quick off his line, good at sweeping up but unlike Reina he isn't commanding in his area and should come for more crosses.

 

Real ended the match with Ronaldo, Robinho, Zidane, Guti and Beckham on the pitch and the passing was awful.
