The striker delimma

Since the pre season games, the strikers were finding it hard going to get the ball into the net.

 

We had the worst start to the PL season with Crouch starting and unable to find the net. The gaols were coming from the midfldres but not the front men.

When Crouch started to score, we thought "hey, the drought is over". seems a false dawn.

 

This striker delimma is not a knee jerk but a forseen problem.

 

Now that this is confirmed, rafa has gone on a knee jerk search to sign Robbie, methinks hopefully to inject new interest in the striking dept.

 

i just hope it works......it seems a very fundy problem....even lower tier teams such as wigan, charlton has better individual strikers
