Cos with Fowler being brought in he was 5th choice (in Rafas eyes) so its better for him to get games at Blackburn than kick his heels here. Whether he should have been 5th choice is another question, personally id play him ahead of Cisse simply cos his attitude is better but if noone is going to take Ciise then what are you going to do. If you want to sell him next year you have to play him and hope his value increases.

why ?

 

he has needed regular firstteam football for some time.

 

No doubt he is a splendid talent, but there is a very real risc that he might never develop into a splendid player, as he seems to struggle to make the step up from sub to squad regular and starter.

 

Hopefully, he'll get into a good rythm at blackburn and come back as a more wellrounded player. maybe even rediscover the scoring boots from youth level.
