Everytime I turn the telly on (Which, to be fair is fairly infrequently) I see adverts for 'new' bands with fairly improbable names who all sound pretty much like every other band around today - except those few which sound pretty much like bands of the past.

 

Is there any genuinely new stuff out there that makes you think 'wow!' that's original AND good and not just rehashes of something that has been done somewhere before?
