Andy @ Allerton Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Nice to see this idiot trying to reproduce his challenge that did Alonso's ankle last year Went straight into his ankle again and when someone (Terry I think) said something about it - he started laughing and nodding. Git.
Eiler99 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Same procedure as last year. Impressed with Alonso for not getting in his face.
Andy @ Allerton Posted February 6, 2006 Author Posted February 6, 2006 I was impressed with Gerrard - despite obvious provocation and obvious fouling against him - he just picked himself up time and again, didn't moan or whine and got on with it.
matty Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Lampard's the bggest c*** in a team full of c***s.
DGMO Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Oh Lampard, was he playing yesterday? Saw him take a corner and do nothing else. Was probably waiting for his deflected opportunity to come along. Cvnt
ManxRed Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 The commentator mentioned something about the 'tackle that resulted in Alonso breaking a leg'. Ermmm, 'tackle'?? It was a nasty foul matey, take the Chelsea blinkers off and call it how it is, that's what you're getting paid for.
Gravy Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Same procedure as last year. Impressed with Alonso for not getting in his face. I thought Xabi should have done. They were a lot stronger than us yesterday and seemed to bully us all over the pitch. It was one thing we were lacking yesterday. I'm not sure the belief was there yesterday.
R A Softlad Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 The day Lampard shows up against a big side I'm fully expecting to be ice skating in hell...
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Oh Lampard, was he playing yesterday? Saw him take a corner and do nothing else. Was probably waiting for his deflected opportunity to come along. Cvnt Spot on, he was anonymous

Guz Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I've accused Gerrard of not turning up in big games but feck me, Lampard was the worst player on the pitch yesterday. Did nothing of note till that free kick near the end.

It was one thing we were lacking yesterday. I'm not sure the belief was there yesterday. They won most of the 2nd balls yesterday, Makelele and Essien did a good job at that.
Earl Hafler Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I was impressed with Gerrard - despite obvious provocation and obvious fouling against him - he just picked himself up time and again, didn't moan or whine and got on with it. Just once i'd like to see him have a real go against them or the Mancs. He seems subdued against Chelsea...walks around with his head bowed when he should be flying into Lampard and mouthing off at them. If he is the best player in the world, as many people believe, then he needs to play better in games like that.

Forget friends off the pitch

Forget friends off the pitch Its quiet discusting to be honest when you are the captain of your team and you're nowhere to be seen during the reina melee/sending off
