CarraLegend Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 ..Seeing Jerzy in the nets. Not really because Reina is better so for me its a bad thing, its good on the sentimental side but not as a goalkeeper.

I don't know, I think the first guy got it right. We ain't gonna win the league this season and Jerzy is the man for the big cup games so let him keep the shirt, I say.

Bloody hell, you call me negative in one thread and the only time I can get an iota of postiveness out you shoot me down I'm even more depressed now and it's your fault.

I dont see it as a positive that we play with an inferior goalie for the next 3 games though.

CarraLegend Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 It was just nice to see him in goal, that's all. Erm, ok.
Nebraska Red Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 any word on a possible appeal to the red card?
Bigal Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Jerzy has spent the time on the sidelines eating by the looks of him
Tyler Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Thought the same myself - has put on some pounds which is not excusable. He is back for the United game too - chance to redeem himself? Lets see if he takes his chance. Reina was lucky with the ball he spilled that an offside was given. For me the difference between the two is that Reina doesn't let his mistakes affect him.
Bootle Buck Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Wait until he makes his first error and he will be crucified.
Owen1978 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I think it gives the fans a chance to say thanks for istanbul, he is a hero to me!
Woodsyla Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Reina was lucky with the ball he spilled that an offside was given. It's called a save. The guy gets a header from 6yds out and the keeper gets down and makes a great save and you say he was lucky that the man was in an offside position the man who got to the ball first BECAUSE he was in an offside position. Beggars belief. It was a very good save. THE END
Kahnee Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 He is back for the United game too. Did anybody else's heart sink when they read that?
CarraLegend Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Reina was lucky with the ball he spilled that an offside was given. Was he f***, it was a quality save from a bullet header about 6-7 yards out. He did well to get that in the first place.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 what about that shot from Carra? No way was Cech getting close to that. Pity it had to hit a defender. Would've been a goal of the season contender
Stevie H Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Did anybody else's heart sink when they read that? the mancs have got the hex over jerzy.
