Guest Kev Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 He will miss (I think) Charlton (a), Wigan (a), Arsenal (H). If the ban doesn't come into effect until next weekend as I'm unsure of the ruling he will miss: Wigan (a), Arsenal (H), Man Utd (H).
Earl Hafler Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 That will be changed to just a yellow, surely ?!

I'm sure it comes into immediate effect now, but im just guessing Big Stuff said: That will be changed to just a yellow, surely ?! Na he will get done for violent conduct
Reggie Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Might be more cos Wiley is reporting him for the tackle aswell. Straight Red and a Yellow.
CaptainXabi Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Reina's good and all, but we won't miss him that much. Right now we need to learn how to put the f***ing ball in the net. Only after we sort that out will the choice of goalkeeper matter.
alias75 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 He was sent off for the "push" on Robben surely that will get recinded after review.
Guz Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 He got a straight red, the ref pointed at Robben when he issued it
Powelly Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Robben is a drama queen, did you see where the free kick went against Chelsea and he started dancing like a ballerina?
Guest Kev Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Wiley said he was going to book him for the tackle but when he saw Robben die he got a straight red.
Toni Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 carson/dudek.....dilemma....one of them will be not be very happy in the next few weeks....

That was my feeling - one for the tackle and one for the "push" on Robben. But did wiley show the yellow card? I don't think so. If Reina get one or three game suspension depends on the referee report. Have to wait until tomorrow. I hope Liverpool will appeal this red card anyway.
oakie bob Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 See robben didnt need hospital treatment after it
Reggie Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Guz said: He got a straight red, the ref pointed at Robben when he issued it Plus Keys said that the ref was reporting Reina for the tackle also. At least we still have Jerzy "Instanbul" Dudek to fill in.
Earl Hafler Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I saw a straight red card for the ' punch ' Never a red card. Can anyone remeber Makelele in Cardiff ? Practically strangled Didi. Regarding the foul - he got the ball. The linesman then watched the ball roll out for a corner and put his flag up ! ? It was a handball by Gudjohnsen anyway.
Guz Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 To be honest he shouldve t****** him good and proper and made it a worthwhile red
Stevie Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Big Stuff said: It was a handball by Gudjohnsen anyway. That's what I thought. If the ref and linesman had been doing a proper job in the first place, none of the persuing acts would have happened.

Cant believe he wasn't booked today. The abuse he gave the linesman and ref was shocking. Also squared up to Warnock when he ran the ball out of play.
Nebraska Red Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 that has to be appealed. If only for the fact that it will bring the play acting of the drama queens into question and maybe the handball that should have been called prior to the tackle. at the end of the day though, we will get no assistance from the FA and we will lose Reina for 3 games.
Guest Aussie_Red Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Powelly said: Robben is a drama queen, did you see where the free kick went against Chelsea and he started dancing like a ballerina? I think its a load of rubbish, he deserved a booking at best. Robben gets away with provoking him, diving after being 'touched in the face' and dancing like a Ballerina etc. etc. I don't get it. The Chelsea players' immediate response to Reina where they started going off at him was worse than anything Reina had done. They reacted to Reina's behaviour, just as Reina reacted to Robben's behaviour so why aren't they even spoken to?
Earl Hafler Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Yeah, he should have been booked for descent.
alias75 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Think we'll lose him for a game, had Robben acted like an idiot theres no way it would have been a red card offence. I reckon it could be 2 yellows and a 1 game ban.

I'd like to see that t*** Robben complaining every 3 minutes with a swollen jaw. Edited February 5, 2006 by CaptainXabi
Siang Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Guz said: To be honest he shouldve t****** him good and proper and made it a worthwhile red my sentiments exactly... loved Rafa's response to that fat Geoff Shreeves anyway
