How stupid are people?

Just met our lass in town for lunch and walking home past a hotel theres a sign outside. "LIQUIDATION SALE - XBOX 360 £80 - PSP £50 - 42" PLASMA SCREEN £150 - AND MUCH MORE"

Ok then i had a little time to kill so had a wander in to see what the story was. This big dude on a mic sells a digital camcorder, laptop, psp, mobile phone and a toaster for £20 to a bloke just as i walk in. I'm thinkin' feckin hell until i see the guy hes just sold the stuff to walk round the back and put the stuff back on the shelf but the power of distraction is going on cause the main guy has everyone going bananas for these great deals and starts throwing around free toasters to get the place in hysteria. The the rub comes.... "I've got a box here, i'm not gonna tell you whats in here but it's worth over £700. I've got a load of them to go, who'll give me a fiver?" The place goes apesiht people throwing their money at him. All they get is a ticket to claim thier stuff at the end. The thing is where i'm standing i can see behind the stage and their putting really cheap am radios in the boxes.

That was enough for me. As i was walking out I saw a granny walk in, I told her to keep her money and she'd get more value for money in asda.

Surely this can't be legal?
