mm2259 Posted February 3, 2006 Author Posted February 3, 2006 MockersDoom Mockers Schmockers... I'd rather be a mocker than end up watching it on telly.....
AE Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 With the absence of the Mancs I would just let the Chelsea fans buy them all and then we can get them cheap at the end of April
Spanish Si Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Got two tickets for Istanbul through the Eufa ballot so will definately have another go. Thanks for the reminder.
Joshytoohotty Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 presumeably they'll tell me whether I'm successful or not before they debit my card because I need to make sure it has the money in it.
mm2259 Posted February 3, 2006 Author Posted February 3, 2006 presumeably they'll tell me whether I'm successful or not before they debit my card because I need to make sure it has the money in it. They say that if you are successful you will be asked to confirm your credit card details again before they debit the amount owed...
BDB Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Nice put in for a couple, better than my last min panic buying on eBay last year. made out okay though only paid $400 for a 2nd row seat behind the milan bench.
monkey puzzle Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Attend the games throughout the tournament and then when it comes to the final if and when we get there you will get a ticket.

stressederic Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I've applied for a couple of tickets. That's be a nice little summer holiday.
RP Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Touting is obviously wrong, BUT... If you got tickets in the ballot and we got knocked out but Chelsea made it to the Final, what would you do with the tickets? Pass them on at face value?

stressederic Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Go along and hope they got absolutely t******?
RP Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 (edited) To be honest, I would pass them on too as I know a (the only ??) few decent Chelsea fans. But I'd be tempted to just keep them at home and not sell them at all. Going along and hoping they lose is not an option for me. Edited February 3, 2006 by RP
Barnesy_10 Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I just went for two... but if we go through to the final I will do like I did last year and get them off my fan cards.... so in theory I could end up with five tickets!
R A Softlad Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I've put in for a couple as I'll be in Paris then anyhoo...

If you got tickets in the ballot and we got knocked out but Chelsea made it to the Final, what would you do with the tickets? Pass them on at face value? UEFA final, when we had been knocked out by Celtic, I sold my tickets at face value via a friendly LFC steward who posts on here. But, with it being Chelsea, my morality would be tested, especially after missing out at Istanbul and no doubt a few Chelsea fans made a few quid off ours for that. I think he may have passed them on to me?? I ended up with 9 tickets for the Final in Seville and passed them all on to Celtic fans. They were pretty happy!!
Hugh Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I paid silly money for Istanbul tickets. Never did the ballot as I never in a million years considered us actually getting there even at this time last year. I'm deperately scared of jinxing the f***** by applying this time round. Advice?

Book yourself a trip to Paris for say, the middle of May, to soak up the culture and the general ambience of the city and whilst there why not attend a football match if there's one on?
David Hodgson Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Yes. Really ? I'd sell them to a Chelsea fan at a grand a pop, and I'd sleep reeeeal easy about it.
