Guest Moy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I heard the corner of the Lower Anny and Lower Kemlyn singing 'Stand up if you hate Man U' Cringeworthy wools of the highest order.

mm2259 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I heard them. full of OOTs it was. songs like "we love you blackburn" and "4-1, to the blackburn". @rses. It wasn't just OOT's there was a gang of locals in front of me who didn't shut up the whole game with this sort of crap...
Jeff guitar Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) 'Stand up if your obsessed with Man U' would be more apt. Seemed to eminate from the area that is reserved for online ticket sales and priority tickets. Edited February 2, 2006 by Jeff guitar
allez les rouges Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 It wasn't just OOT's there was a gang of locals in front of me who didn't shut up the whole game with this sort of crap... from skelmersdale then
Guest Moy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 "Clap clap clap Fowler" and Robbie Robbie robbie chants The 'clap clap clap Fowler' chant is OK as that is HIS chant, but all the 'Robbie, Robbie, Robbie' s***? Get tae f***!
mm2259 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 from skelmersdale then They were kids, a few years back they would have had a grounding in the Kop and known that we don't sing about other teams unless we're playing them. Old traditional songs like "We hate nottingham Forest" excepted.
danny Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 whats tunes robbie robbie robbie to... not oggy oggy oggy i hope
mm2259 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 'Stand up if your obsessed with Man U' would be more apt. Seemed to eminate from the area that is reserved for online ticket sales and priority tickets. Heard a couple attempts at the chelsea/no history song as well but i don't think anybody knew the words so that quickly died a death.... Just makes us look like all the other w*nkers out there.....
Guest Moy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 whats tunes robbie robbie robbie to... not oggy oggy oggy i hope No, even worse - chanted to the rhythm of 'Ea-sy!'
Redwire Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I heard the corner of the Lower Anny and Lower Kemlyn singing 'Stand up if you hate Man U' Cringeworthy wools of the highest order. It looked like pretty much all of the lower Anny Road from where I was sat. Couldn't f*cking believe it.
Keita Posted February 2, 2006 Author Posted February 2, 2006 It looked like pretty much all of the lower Anny Road from where I was sat. Couldn't f*cking believe it. Maybe everyone stood cause the c*** in front stood up and the others couldnt see.
ricflairandy Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 It looked like pretty much all of the lower Anny Road from where I was sat. Couldn't f*cking believe it. Well it wasnt f***ing me. All the fellas around me were going mad telling everyone to sit the f*** down when that happend. One fella turned round for some reason and said "ask me in a scouse accent"(the fella who did say it was a scouser, so this didnt make sense) to which about 30 people replied "wha , f***ing sit down now ya c***" . the fella got off on about 75 mins
suzyv Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I was in the corner and i was going mad when they started to sing stand up if u hate manu i just sat their and then when they started to sing who are you i said liverpool dont sing that and a few of the older fans around me said the same but the people singing were scousers not oot wich made it worse
Spike Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I really wish that there was a ticketing policy, especially now we have traceable fancards, that meant that you had to go to 'x' number of games to qualify for certain parts of the ground. Sickens me to see the number of folks in the Kop that don't sing (scouse, ooter and oocer). In the front of 203 last night there was me and a lad a row or two behind joining in with the back lot of 202 and 203. To me, the type of c***s that sing the easy and that type of chants are Sky watchers who have no idea or concept of what the songs are or where they come from. Just hear it from microphones for microphans
Keita Posted February 2, 2006 Author Posted February 2, 2006 To be fair to the OOT they have just as much right to be there as anyone else, the club cant isolate them. if they did then LFC as a club couldnt compete with the big boys, and gerrard and benitez wouldnt be here.

You soucers need to recognise that validity of this comment.
Spike Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 (edited) You soucers need to recognise that validity of this comment. I am not a scouser and there's plenty of folk that I know (from where I sit with my 1/2 share in a ST and at other times whereveer I get to sit via my PTS) that are that don't contribute to the atmosphere. By the same token, a lot of the folks I have met from here aren't scouse for example yet they follow and love the club more than a lot of other folk. It's not an OOter/OOcer/Scouse thing essentially. It has f*** all to do with where you are from IMO. It has a great deal to do with how you want to support the team. I have been in the main and centenary a few times and to sing, unless you get a block booking (max of 4) with your mates, is to mean you are the only one and you feel a right c***. That's what I'm getting at. It's been debated many times here and will never be resolved until they swap credit card and fan card details for lyrics. Oh, and PS: I am mostly a part-timer as I've only ever been to two aways in my life so f*** knows how strongly the regs feel about this. Edited February 3, 2006 by Spike Starski
