Jimi Rojo Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 After watching him last night after just one game i have to ask is he Aggers***to or Aggerslowo Are you suggesting he didn't have a good debut? Apart from one mistake I thought he did really well. Looks like a great player in the making
fyds Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 After watching him last night after just one game i have to ask is he Aggers***to or Aggerslowo Nothing like summing up a player after one game eh? Note: Hansen's first game was terrible, complete with an own goal and more mistakes than made by Sol Campbell sulking over his boyfriend.
Maldini Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 After watching him last night after just one game i have to ask is he Aggers***to or Aggerslowo Agreed, I didn't see the game and am now blind thanks to a wittling accident, but from reading the braille report this morning I can tell the guy is never going to adjust to the hustle and bustle of the English game.

Maldini Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I knew he wasn't gonna make it when he came out of the tunnel in long sleeves. Didn't need to watch him after thatAs I've said before, I knew at the press conference (in the halcyon days before Swiss ingenuity did for my good eye) that he wouldn't make it, his scarf holding technique was too continental.
cestrianred Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 The lad looks promising (Hansen's start-I remember it well-a good comparison) and when he went upfield first half you could see he was comfortable on the ball. All the mental prep in the world would be insignificant to facing Sutton & Heskey's shoulders & elbows in your first game at 100+ miles an hour, after a winter break & lesser league. The lad will be fine.

In all seriousness there were about 3-4 clearances he could have done better with and heskey and sutton looked like they may bully him a couple of times but hasn't he only just got fit. The english game can be a bit unique in terms of throwing forward lines like that at you.

Guest AdamS Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Thought it was a very impressive debut. He seemed to struggle if it was crowded though... Aggeraphobia?
Barnesy_10 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 He;s not as tall as I thought he was, but he did well against the likes of Heskey who is bigger and more powerful. He does seem to use his arms to get up for headers so I can see us conceding a few free kicks, but I guess he will get used to this.
