ifanew Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Here Breaking News! According to a Newcastle supproting mate of mine "A club statement has just announced that Graeme Souness's contract has been terminated. Glenn Roeder takes temporary charge."
Herbie von Smalls Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 he should've had the integrity to resign. there was no way he was ever going to turn things around.
Stevie H Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 barcodes another £5m down. shepherd's a joke.
DaveLFC Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 thread should have been titled 'chop souey' or 'Souey gets the chop'
DaveLFC Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 or Fat Dikchead Fails AgainA more factual and reasonable title I have to agree.
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I think that could well be the last time we see souey in a management position.
Guest Scot Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I think that could well be the last time we see souey in a management position. Tenner says it's not. He'll get a job where the club is reckoned to be in 'turmoil' and needs a 'no-nonsense' manager.
Guz Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Gutted about the news. Souness should have stayed
Des Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Glenn Roeder takes temporary charge. After Roeder's health problems when he took West Ham down, will he be up for another relegation battle?
Gilps Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 After Roeder's health problems when he took West Ham down, will he be up for another relegation battle? He's not on his own this time. He's got the experienced able support of big Al it says here
floyd Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 This club suffers from MASSIVE delusions of grandeur
Guest Scot Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 He's not on his own this time. He's got the experienced able support of big Al it says here Shearer's getting the job full-time. Fo' shizzle.
drdooom Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Sacking the manager 2 days after the transfer window closes. Fat Freddie likes a challenge
Stevie H Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Tenner says it's not. He'll get a job where the club is reckoned to be in 'turmoil' and needs a 'no-nonsense' manager. middlesbrough.
Fastardo Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 According to a Newcastle supproting mate of mine... I've just seen him in the cateen, Ifan. He was running around with his fists clenched in a Gary Neville stylee!
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) Tenner says it's not. He'll get a job where the club is reckoned to be in 'turmoil' and needs a 'no-nonsense' manager. I see that £10. Surely most chairmen arent that stupid. By the way, whats the URL for that barcodes forum? Edited February 2, 2006 by Ronnie Whelan
cestrianred Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Sacking the manager 2 days after the transfer window closes. Fat Freddie likes a challenge Whilst sacking Souness is undoubtedly correct, hiring him in the first place was a HUGE error.Fat Freddie is a horrible, odious lump-wouldn't want him as Chairman of a Sunday XI!
ifanew Posted February 2, 2006 Author Posted February 2, 2006 I've just seen him in the cateen, Ifan. He was running around with his fists clenched in a Gary Neville stylee! burn himself again did he, I've told him red tap is hot water!! most loyal and intelligent fans in the country
drdooom Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Whilst sacking Souness is undoubtedly correct, hiring him in the first place was a HUGE error. Looked mostly like they sacked uncle Bobby without having a replacement lined up and Souness (who at the time was doing his best to ruin Blackburn IIRC) was the best they could eventually come up with. Great way to run a club
