Leo No.8 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Apparently Boro are in a right state behind the scenes. Amongst other incidents McLaren is supposed to have had a fight with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on the training ground, and the 'senior pros' want Southgate to take over as manager. Can't say I'd be all that sorry if they ended up going down - not a particularly pleasant club and a horrible away trip...
Owen1978 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 lol, they should get someone like Souness to sort it out!
Leo No.8 Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 lol, they should get someone like Souness to sort it out! Absolutely - Souness would batter Hasselbaink...
robfar1 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 You don't need to be a Vegas oddsmaker to know that Hasselbaink would absolutely muller McLaren in a fight.
Bootle Buck Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I can't understand how that Fecker McClaren gets away with things. His club are in a free fall and yet he always has that cheesey grin on his face. It's like he is made out of teflon. Even when they lost 7-0 the fecker still didn't seem to be bothered.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 he just signed a new contract last week too
Guz Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I think you know there's something wrong when Southgate made those comments a good few weeks back, something about things not being right at the club. And Didnt Shwarzer actually sign a contract last year and decided to off it this Janury. Definitley not right that club
anfield Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Dont understand why hasselbank never got picked up by a bigger club. quality player
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I wonder why things have gone so sour? Isnt McLaren Boros' most successful manager?
johngibo YPC Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I wonder why things have gone so sour? Isnt McLaren Boros' most successful manager? yeah but theyve got way more money now than ever before.
Kahnee Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I wonder why things have gone so sour? Isnt McLaren Boros' most successful manager? Not a difficult accolade to achieve...
Ronnie Whelan Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Not a difficult accolade to achieve... Absolutely, yet he took them from relative anonymity to the knock-out stages of europe and domestic honours. Surely enough to win the support of your manager and the fans. I appreciate they are struggling this season and were embarrased against the a*** but surely they have to expect the 'occasional' blip.
Stevie H Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I f*cking hate Boro f***ing horrible mickey mouse club pretending that they're part of the football establishment. mclaren's a joke manager, absolutely comical - a throwback to the days when the media perception of man utd led to everyone remotely associated with the place being a qualified football genius. and boro the town's a total sh*thole as well.

Exactly. fecking no-marks. Behind only Everton, Man U and Leeds in my hate stakes.
Tones Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 but surely they have to expect the 'occasional' blip. Its not a blip. Theyre crap. Despite spending relatively large amounts of money. Cant see what anyone sees in McLaren.

Crap town, crap football crap everything. I hope they go down
Hassony Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I thought at the begining of the season they were supposed to have a better squad than Liverpool

Clay Davis Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 if they go down I'd have Yakubu right away.
