I think 12 million would be a fair price for him. OK must admit he has played pretty poor this season, but last season he was doing well for club and country.

Not sure why we make late moves in the transfer market for.....Why leave it soo late????

 

If he is gutted then he should just hand in a transfer request and move to uz in the summer.

Defoe has glaring flaws in his game, but he seems the type that Rafa could work with, has a bit of nous about him, he's a natural goalscorer.

The thing I dont understand about the transfer window is why wait till it opens to buy players. Surely you can do all the negotiating and agree a fee before hand and come 3rd January, when everyone is back from the bank holiday, register the player and exchange contracts etc. Just seems strange more deals aren't agree before hand and confirmed that the player will move at the next window.
