MarkD Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 From an ex-player close to us/ and Spurs, Jol has asked about Morientes after Mido got injured last night - hasn't been rebuffed. £4 million being mentioned.
Suth Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 reckon if he goes anywhere it'll be back to spain

I'd dismiss it until the summer, unless there something in the Defoe in Liverpool stuff
MarkD Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 I think it's request at this stage to see if we are interested. Not sure if the player has discussed it nor if it has anything to do with other players at all.
Paul_LFC Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 (edited) Scales?Leo?Clemence?Redders?Ruddock? I wouldn't be suprised if Rafa moved Nando on. Even though he was playing superb just because the latest knock, he still has greatly underachieved. Links in with Bascombe saying yesterday that he may be on his way. It makes the Defoe talk seem more interesting now. Edited January 29, 2006 by Paul_LFC
The Hitman Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 He plays well, but he doesn't really score enough goals, for me.I wouldn't be surprised to see him go,the league isn't suited to him, although he gives it his best.
Guest Les Howard Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I'd dismiss it until the summer, unless there something in the Defoe in Liverpool stuff Defoe IN liverpool? Has he been spotted or something?Or is it a bagage handler claim at JLA? I'd be happy to see that deal come off.

Guest Kev Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Not given up on Nando yet, although the vultures are flying South in anticipation.
Guest Budo Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I hope he's not going anywhere As far away as possible after tonight. F****n S***!
Bailo Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 As far away as possible after tonight. F****n S***!
Mike Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 ive not given up on nando, but he hardly paid me back tonight with that performance
Guest Scot Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 ive not given up on nando, but he hardly paid me back tonight with that performance Poor wasn't he? Warnock gave me a few (more) scares too. We were pedestrian, but good enough.
anfield Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Given up hope on Mori, Cisse was actually miles better than him tonight
stonty Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Absolutely woeful, there must be glaciers that can move quicker than him!!!
Falconhoof Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 (edited) Time is running out for Morientes. Not impressed with him at all. Edited January 29, 2006 by Cardinal Fang
Guest JV Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Just don't think he's cut out for this league.
Bootle Buck Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 The game seems to pass him by. Their is no urgency or heart in his game. He needs to start making things happen as his style of play just isn't suited to us and English football.
Guest ritchie_50 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Scales?Leo?Clemence?Redders?Ruddock? It was Ziege
Guest Les Howard Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I wish this deal would hurry up and happen coz that was gash. I know the team as a whole didn't play well but with the exception of the flick to JAR for the goal - Moro lost the ball every single fecking time. But hey - people will tell me he's got class, he's quality, he'll come good blah blah blah. Forget it. It's not gonna happen.
Guest ritchie_50 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 (edited) Funny how Bascombe is called for everything for saying he wouldn't be sorry to see him go and then a few hours later he's deemed to have a poor match in a scrappy cup tie in a match we win and he's s*** and should have his bags packed tomorrow morning.
