Christ, the reaction's a bit strong

how can we be this down on our lot after recent times? We were one free kick from it being a competent performance. Yes, Cissé was dreadful, as he has been many times, but so were so many others and we still controlled the game. They played the game like a cup-tie and we never relaxed as a result. We lack a biting edge up front but overall we're in tremendous nick. I'd like to see young Agger given a run fairly soon as Sami looks shot and a wide right player is required to let SG move onto a more central position.

It was a nailed-on clean sheet until the silly free kick, but f*** it. I hate that a****** Ferdinand, but he was made look like Bobby bleeding Moore yesterday. All of a sudden he develops an attitude yesterday. God, I'd have loved to be playing that game yesterday. I'd have taken a straight red and lengthy ban on Neville after the goal.

It was a kick in the teeth Sean. If me auntie blah blah blah but if we had of won yesterday we could have built up some momentum going to Chelsea in 2 weeks.

I agree that we are in good nic, still hurts alot

we were mugged to be honest. as evidenced by the mancs' celebrations, they knew they'd got out of jail and hadn't deserved to draw, let alone win.

don't think we did a hell of a lot wrong really, apart from an off-day from all our forwards.

I know it hurts like hell, but the very fact they celebrated the way they did speaks volumes. We've come a long way. If we're being honest I'm not sure a pursuit of Chelsea is or was realistic. I can't see UTD going on any sort of run as they're clearly average.

I thoght we played well but faded in the last 10 minutes - while they got stronger. The game could just have easily gone the other way, but running out of steam before the end isn't a good sign.

We did look a bit jaded. Not sure if it was nerves or tirdness though. The opening 20 minutes of the second half was all us until Cisse missed and then I think the heads dropped a little and ManU clawed back into it.

That's what I thought - the team selection for Pompy and Brum should be interesting...

I don't think it was as much running out of steam as settling for the draw

That was my interpretation too. Added to the fact that the one really good quality ball in the box from either side was by Giggs... :(

people need to get a f***ing grip##I am sure I will be told that the internet is the perfect place to vent frustrations....but for f***s sake....we lost a game....we are having a very good season, and we lost a game...yes it was to United, and it hurts me as much as anyone, but some peoples reaction is like this has never happened before......

As always disappointment comes not from the result but the manner of the performance.

We didn't perform and some players were truly awful. Some have gone over the top, but there's reason to criticise.

we underperformed. It's not acceptable in such a game but it happened.

What's important is to focus on the habit of performing we had prior to it and forget about this game.

I think that's why so many were/are annoyed really. I would have been annoyed with a draw too yesterday.

If we had played like we've been playing lately and drawn or even lost I'd just have been frustrated but happy that we gave it our best.

we've got used to cruising lately and steamrollering teams. bit of a wake-up call against complacency yesterday.,

We didn't create enough, Gerrard was poor second half and Sissoko isn't yet the finished article by a length chalk. Still it was a Liverpool/United game, and how often do they go to form?

mate, you have summed it all up. The mancs got out of jail, they celebrated as if they had won the league.

We'll learn and move on. True about the forwards though. We did lack a lot in the final third.

Almost exactly the same way I saw it. We went to Old Toilet and took the game to them, even only firing on half cylinders. It was the 86th minute before they even got a corner. They spammed it, it happens. Next game.

RUBBISH, Quieroz said that they let us play that way, he said that they wanted us to dominate like that and hit us on the break

must be true, no?

it's like 10,000 spoons thrown at gary neville's head when all you need is a knife.

Think I'd prefer to slowly beat him to death with 10000 spoons.

I just found myself getting home, switching on Skysports hoping that their lead story would be something about Gary Neville being found dead floating in a canal. It was a bit surreal.

Does that make me a bad person?

Oh well.

No it makes you normal. ;)

I missed the cn*t's celebration as I was retrieving my TV remote control from the kitchen where I threw it.
