We definitely need someone new to take them.

I just knew that late free kick from Gerrard was gonna amount to nothing, happens all the time.

Was watching Real Madrid last night and they rattled two in within a few minutes.

Just for the record (this really annoys me and I know it shouldn't)

It's not Gonzales, it's Gonzalez

;)

Isn't it the region? If he was Peruvian it'd be an "S".

No no no no no no no.

I tell you what, I'll pass it to you and then you can hit it hard.

How many goals have you scored that way and how many free kicks have you taken ?

You scored one cracker at Anfield and that's that.

Please, stay away from our free-kicks in future.

the problem is, is that they are telegraphed. if he hit it straight from the spot, then he will score more.

the problem is that we hit it sideways, (usually to the left) and he runs in and t***ts it. by the time he has got to the ball the opposition are almost to the ball.

I dare you to call him Peruvian, he'd kill you where you stand...possibly with a stinging left foot free-kick.

thats the point isnt it? we know it and so do the fooking opposition.

I know. I just didn't think it needed to be repeated ;)

was it against Leverkusen last season where Riise placed one really well? Don't remember him trying it apart from that.

Oh yeh, remember that now. OK two good ones, it's not working though is it.

the half bottle of JD has at last taken effect. maybe i will forget all about today in the morning.

I'm stuck in work, alcohol to numb the pain is not an option for now, and for the next few days :(

i feel sorry for you mate, at least i can forget about it whilst drinking. ;)

And I'm back on nights for the Pompey game as well :(

thats bad. but at least you will be in a better mood after next weekends result though. :)

I'm f***ing gutted by the defeat, but there's a lot more pain involved when player(s) don't give a s***.

Absolutely. It's a ridiculous tactic. As has been said, Gerrard should get away from them too. Almost always wastes them.

Just bite your lip and take it on the chin.

There's a former Liverpool captain whose name no-one ever spells right here...

I'll be praying extra hard for a victory then. You have been really tiresome in the past twelve or so hours.

I know, f*** me, it's not hard is it?

I-N-C-E OK?

The Leverkusen one was a dead ball, dunno why he doesn't try more of them rather than the rolled one.

we should hit all of our direct free-kicks direct. play percentages, drive it low at goal, see if you get a deflection or a knock-down. we just waste them currently.
