Gunga Din Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 pissed off is an understatement. i hate losing, but losing to that shower of s**** is the worst feeling in the world. Gary Neville, inbred f***ing c***, runs to our lot when they score. shows you up for what you are, just like your fans, more concerned by us than you are about your own team. disappointed with our performance today, we were going to lose sometime, we have had a good run. too many players didnt show up today. Cisse was awful, Crouch was poor, but i think Cisse made him look worse by not supporting him, Zabi had a poor game and Hyypia looks shattered. the only good thing today was for 90 minutes our fans ripped their lot to bits, there wasnt a peep out of them. i still think we ill finish second, its just a shame that we chose today to have a bad one!
Cunny Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I actually thought Xabi had a decent game and we lost all attacking threat after Crouch went off.
Guest Ant Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 This is not a psotive place now, get off your high horse and post something negatvie
Tosh Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 yep We've not had a real good lynching of a player since the Palace game.
Red Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I thought Xabi did OK. Gerrard had a great first half, but seemed shattered in the 2nd.Cisse is not good enough, full stop, point, period. Crouch moves slower than a sloth on vallium.Harry looked like he was wading in mud.Momo ran around a lot as usual, but his best 'moment' of the game was the Abel Xavier-esque 'chalk goatee'.Bar the c*ck-up at the end, I thought all the defenders played well, Finnan inparticular. Generally feeling gutted at the mo', but on the positive side, we were the better team for large periods of this match and deserved to get something out of it. Let's make up for it by twa**ing the a*** and Chelsea.
chrisbonnie Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Red, you really thought Stevie played well in the first half? i thought he was abissmal in the first, his touch seemed Cissesque Xabi played pretty well, i thought Sissoko got involved alot, ok, probably didnt do exactly what we wanted(score or set up) but he wasnt half in the mix of things through out Cisse was crap, as was Crouch, he should have done better when Cisse laid that ball onto him in the first half, his volley was terrible Nando yet again defied the odds and became a new level of nothingness, Kewell was ok, he tried, defenders all played well, especially Finnan, unlucky he gave the free kick away thought the keeper played well, and really thought he had saved that header as well, unlucky, but the run had to end sometime
Captain Carrot Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Upset yes, depressed no. We were much the better footballing side and controlled much of the game in a manner I haven't seen for many a year. We lost because we made a tactical error in the closing minutes. We will learn from it and push on.

Red Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Red, you really thought Stevie played well in the first half? i thought he was abissmal in the first, his touch seemed Cissesque He made 3-4 chances for himself and other players, and put a lovely ball thru to Cisse, which Cisse should've scored from. I think he tired quickly however, as did most of the team.
Guest Kev Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I think he tired quickly however, as did most of the team. Are we now feeling the effects of starting the season so early ?
Guest sigurdg Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 the only good thing today was for 90 minutes our fans ripped their lot to bits, there wasnt a peep out of them. i still think we ill finish second, its just a shame that we chose today to have a bad one! 'Sold to the USA' and 'USA USA USA' was well heard all the way to Sweden.
Hightown Phil Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 'Sold to the USA' was the highlight of the afternoon. Funny as. Shame about the last minute goal, but on the plus side, it helps disguise everything that is wrong with Manchester United, and helps show that we aren't yet where we need to be.
Beardsley Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Cisse is s*** in the air. Two things stick out for me (oo er missus). First half, Cisse wins the header and flicks on to Cisse only to see him standing six inches behind him. Now, that would be some trick, mate Second half, great cross to Cisse but he turns his head away from the ball and it strikes him on the ear. There was a massive thread about Fowler this week, I would take him back now in a heartbeat over that overrated, spoilt, c***. Anyway, United were there for the taking today. Except our defense, I think we played pretty poor all over the pitch today. I see most blame Cisse, but I can't say he got much support (in fact, none of the strikers got support today). The ball more often than not was hoofed and landed with snow on it. Not easy to make anything out of that kind of "support" against Druggo Ferdinand & Co.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 The only positive I can take from today is seeing Mancs leaving the ground with 5 mins to go. f***ing c***s the lot of em
Guest JV Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Didn't want to start a new thread, and don't think it's been mentioned elsewhere, but I've just watched a tape of the game again, and there's no fecking chance that it was a free kick at the end for the goal.Said the same in the match thread absolute bullshlt of a fvcking freekick. I knew they were going to score from it aswell. Someone needs to run the runt of a ref over.
Guest King Cantona Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 The only positive I can take from today is seeing Mancs leaving the ground with 5 mins to go. f***ing c***s the lot of em Hmm............The lot of 'em?... Very objective views you're sharing with us there mate..........
CarraLegend Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Hmm............The lot of 'em?... Very objective views you're sharing with us there mate.......... Any fan who leaves at 0-0 with 5 minutes left in your biggest game of the season is a total c*** who shouldnt even be allowed a ticket.
Guest King Cantona Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Any fan who leaves at 0-0 with 5 minutes left in your biggest game of the season is a total c*** who shouldnt even be allowed a ticket. Yes but I alluded to the FACT that he said "the lot of 'em", to the best of my knowledge there were still thousands of United fans in the ground to see the goal go in... His blanket condemnation of EVERY United fan does him no credit at all... And by the way I only left a game early once in my life and we were beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the time and I had a date with a very beautiful girl that night that didn't turn out too good but c'est la vie......
Spike Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 We were s*** at times today but that is now the level of expecation we have. We were s*** but still bossed the game. Last year we would have been s***, and outfought, outbossed and would be looking for excuses and saying that it's cos we are rebuilding. If, this time last year, I'd have thought I'd have such high expectations I would have been delighted. Disappointed? Yes! gutted or ashamed? No, as I'l walk into work tomorrow knowing that they know that the batton has changed hands. In the past few years we have had our games when they were by far the superior team but a set piece wins it. Today was their 5 minutes in the sunshine, and all but the goal it was a defeat. All of their players bust their gut. Ours didn't. Makes you think what we can really do against that shower when we aren't so f***ed.
intense enigma Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Lets hope we get them in the FA Cup somewhere down the road preferably in the final and kick the s*** out of them and leave them trophyless this season.
Koogan Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 and I had a date with a very beautiful girl that night that didn't turn out too good but c'est la vie...... No need telling us that. We would have guessed anyway.
