Guest Red Mist Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Apologies if this has been posted before, this is the first I've seen of the new Addidas kit. Can't confirm if it's genuine or not, but either way, it looks quite good to me.
fyds Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 It's not genuine - it's a mock up by a poster on RAWK - they've sent it on to adidas as a suggestion. It is good though.
drvegapunk Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 This is the latest one doing the rounds. It's supposed to be from a trade show in Malaysia. The shirt shown is said to be of the same cut as the new Adidas International kits for the likes of Germany, France & Japan.

chrisbonnie Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 the one the rawk lad did is pretty nifty, but i still prefer our current home top, its our best home jersey in years imo

floyd Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 The other lad who posted those on TLW also posted these, leisure wear. The Tracky top looks good.
aka Dus Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 There's absolutely no way in hell Adidas would be showing gear at a trade show they aren't even marketing yet. Simply doesn't happen.
floyd Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 So shall Adidas use the Reebok strategy of Never On Time. Think Adidas will have everything sorted already for July.
gazza Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Those kits from the trade show are seriously $hite. The home one looks like its got a tarts body outline on it !!
Logic Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 So shall Adidas use the Reebok strategy of Never On Time. Think Adidas will have everything sorted already for July.Might be as early as March from what I've heard. Not the best of sources but the guy has no reason to lie to me.
Vlad JNR Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 I think those kits for the trade show look genuine, someone who had links with adidas posted in S/E Asia said they were likely to be these, and described the away kit really well, its going to have red numbers on the back too. Forget who it was now
crisps Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 the trade show ones look crap, i'd have the photoshop effort anyday though! defo a title winning shirt

The shirt shown is said to be of the same cut as the new Adidas International kits for the likes of Germany, France & Japan. Are they from the Asian Football Shirt Bootleggers Trade Show?
slapnuts Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 The other lad who posted those on TLW also posted these, leisure wear. The Tracky top looks good. class
Maldini Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 can't confirm they are the actual kits, but for production purposes, retailers here in the states have to order this stuff at this time of year so having it in a catalog for distribution is not unrealistic. It's the same here, I used to work in a sports shop, we got the catalogues around this time of year with next year's stuff in it Our logotype is a trademark. They aren't going to run with apparel with that Liverbird logotype. Unfortunately.Reebok did The mock up done by the poster is good apart from the white trails over the hip area...bit girly. He used them because that's the way Adidas have designed their kits for the World Cup
