Jodi, the disability liaison officer at Liverpool, is responsible for a charity, website and associated help for sufferers of the condition CMN. She needs to raise a large sum of money this year - can you please help, any sum gratefully received. Please also pass on the message if you can.

A few more details, paraphrased from the website:

 

The charity is Caring Matters Now Support Group, for sufferers of Congenital Melanocyitc Naevus.

 

"CMN is primarily an abnormally large collection of melanocytes in the skin. "

 

This can mean one or more appearances, anywhere on the body, of different sized melanomas. They are there from birth and grow as the child grows. They can be benign, but obviously distressing in appearance, they can be malignant, the brain and spinal column can be involved, the eyes can also be involved.

 

Jodi's charity helps sufferers and their families with support, information and helps fund research into the disease.
