Royal Mail Special Delivery..

I posted this parcel in December to Scotland and the poor guy has still not received it..I faxed a copy of the receipt to the guy that day and didnt expect Royal Mail to be that incompetent.. apparently they have posted it to somewhere in Liverpool which is baffling as Im yet to find a post code starting with KA in Liverpool.... will there be a problem as I do not have the orignal reciept but just have the photocopies of the reciept i used to fax..
