Momo.......all he needs is a goal at the moment....

.......and I think we will see what else the lad has to offer. I thought he had a cracking game today and was all over the place. People talk about Stevie's motor but I think Momo could easily run him off the pitch. He is already showing his worth and at such a young age he could well turn out to be one of the best signings Liverpool have made in quite some time. His play almost made Xabi invisible today.

Today was one of his best performances so far for us. He was everywhere and even pulled off a few tricks as well. His tecnique to win a corner near the end was terrific.

I would love to clock this guy on the mileage he covers in a match, never seen a player like him before.

My man of the match today.

I think his ability to get to balls that look "out of reach" is an amazing attribute and shows his pure athletic ability. He has no hesitation to go to the ground to try and make a tackle on the ball. His workrate is absolutely amazing and he has a motor that just won't quit. His signing was quite a coup for the Club and it makes it all that much better that Rafa was able to sneak in and steal him from the the Blue s****.

now he just needs to learn how to distribute the ball a bit better, showed great technique today that i didnt think he had, but he was a striker after all...

well in momo, he also didnt make any late tackles today

The good news with Momo in terms of on-the ball activity is that he knows what he should do with the ball. The problem is that he just rushes it and loses his composure in the act. That's a lot better than having a player who can't make the right decisions. He'll sort it out soon enough.

That'll come with experience I reckon. Remember what Stevie was like at 20, always trying the Hollywood 50 yard passes, he's far more efficient in possession now, Momo will be too I'd say.

I seriously think this lad will make an impact in the English game like Viera did. I liked what I saw of him on the right too. He actually started out as a striker and looked comfortable getting forward.

He's a monster. Possession / passes remains a glaring weakness. Not so much as vision but technique and a bit of decision making. The good thing is this can be worked on and time is defo on his side.

Thought his use of possession has been a little below average today and v Luton TBH.

But a great signing and as he learns an excellent player inthe making.

He was everywhere in the 1st half, not sure why he was moved to the right in the 2nd, but his influence declined then.

Would have preferred him to stay in the middle as Xabi had a stinker today.

Really impressed with him today, and his confidence at the end with two players on him was great to see. Think he will just get better and better - but do agree he needs a little guidance with his distribution.

him and Harry where men of the match today.

Awesome performance by Momo.

Funny really, a game with Xabi Alonso, Steve Gerrard, Edgar Davids - but who's the man that comes out on top - Momo Sissoko. The 'big 3' where somewhat off their games.

But the fact that Xabi and Steve where not as good today, is a measure of how our team is progressing. Cos we had other players who played really well - Momo and Harry Kewell being the main 2.

Momo was superb, in the centre, and at right mid, the lad played a heck of a match.

And the week Rafa speaks about how he wants Momo to calm it a bit - but still keep that competitive edge - he is learning for sure! today wasn't diving in at all, very composed mostly and played very very well. But still was competitive, and still worked so hard and ran and ran.
