Bit missleading that first line by the Echo there. As nowhere in the quotes under it does Rafa state how much or little money he has, he's just saying that teams 'think we haev money'.

 

He's saying is he won't pay over the true value of players. Which is a bit different really.

 

We may not have much dosh, but even if we did, he isn't gonna shout about it, and be willing to overpay for players.

Yes, i agree, imo we do not have loads of dosh but sufficient to sign the players rafa wants to sign.. i think the 20mill rumour is about right considering we just won the CL. still think he has about 12mill to spend this January but dunno if he wants to add that to the summer s kitty....I think he wants to buy a RW and a striker, he may want to buy one of these this Jan. but only if we find the right player and right price for either. he is not prepared to spend much more than 8mill. all speculation, but dont think it s wide off the mark.
