Someone who is borrowing a season ticket book (Main Stand) asked me if they needed the fan card also. I really don't know. Mine is always with my book but would it matter if it wasn't?

I hav enever had to show my fan card along with the S/T to get in

you don't ever have to show the fan card. you don't really even need the book if you know where your seat is, they never ever ask for it.

last time I borrowed a season ticket I handed the voucher in on the turnstile and then realised I hadn't a clue where the seat was. I wasn't challenged - even when I sat in about 6 different seats and kept getting moved on.

I've seen them refuse entry without the book - I think they've got stricter about it the past couple of seasons

It doesn't matter if you haven't got your fan card with you, unless your using one of those fancard swipe turnstile thingy's. We're in the main stand and we only require our season ticket book.

 

Don't just go with the voucher, previously (4 or more years ago) you could have got away with it. We always get asked for our books

If it's the kop they'll need the swipe ST card. If not then you're ok

They will not need the fan card. Just make sure they have the whole book.
