Elisha_Scott Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Apparently he has been training with us the last few days, but he is going to Spain soon for the rest of the season, but in his couple of sessions so far, he has looked very good, as fast as imagined and good on the ball too. Hopefull we get him back in July and by the start of the season he will be ready to go.
robfar1 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 No chance of the transfer in January then? Is it the work permit that's the problem Elisha?
autumn319 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Apparently he has been training with us the last few days, source?
Spike Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I imagine it's so he gets his spanish citizenship?
Benitez Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Any idea what team he'll be going to? I recall Rafa said a while back he wanted him to go to a Primera team rather than back to Albacete. So hopefully if he does go to the Primera, we'll at least get to see him play a couple games on Sky's La Liga coverage! You know - when the other teams have a match againt Real Madrid or Barca
cymrococh Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Have we only imagined he's fast because his name is a bit like Speedy Gonzalez?
Eiler99 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I'm just happy to hear that he really exists.
AnfieldCop Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Sorry for asking Elisha, but do you have any news regarding our hunt for a new rightsided midfielder. Appreciate your info. Cheers !
KD07 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I think it's really for the best. He has just recovered from a serious injury and having him straight in our side might not be the wisest decision as yet, seeing how the fans are already touting him as our next 'big thing flying down the wing'. Having him pick up his match fitness and proving himself truly over the injury while playing on loan could be just what he needs and what we need in the long run.

wacko Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I imagine it's so he gets his spanish citizenship?Almost certainly. If he stays for 6 more months, he'll never have to worry about work permits again.
Stevie H Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 is gonzales a liverpool player? he's on work experience.
KD07 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Elisha sorry to ask mate, but do you have any news regarding what Steven had for breakfast this morning? Cheers. He had a gay bar. *
Mono Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Some crooner from a gay nightclub. I'd sing a song in a gaybar for £5k no bother....In fact for 5 grand I'd sing "Just Can't Get Enough" and "It's raining men "
Bootle Buck Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Elisha sorry to ask mate, but do you have any news regarding what Steven had for breakfast this morning? Cheers. Elton John
AE Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I make one sarcastic little post and you guys all start to make homosexual jokes about him. No wonder he doesn't post on here anymore
fyds Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 is gonzales a liverpool player?According to Albacete, they have actually sold him to us and he's got the no.12 shirt when he's free to join up. According to the UEFA site, they also have him down as our player and No. 12 again - on the face of it, that would (being UEFA) imply that his registration is held by us.

Have we had his grinning mug photographed at a press conference whilst holding said shirt yet though?
