Guest KD2OO4 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Slysports Liverpool are believed to have turned their attentions to Italian international Aimo Diana as they search for a new midfielder. Reports emanating from Italy claim Liverpool have made an offer for the Sampdoria star. Liverpool are in the market for a right-sided midfielder with Rafa Benitez scouring the transfer market since last summer for a player to fill the problematic position. It seems likely that Liverpool are set to miss out on top target Simao Sabrosa with Benfica keen to keep the Portuguese international. The European champions are now thought to be considering a move to lure Diana to Anfield.
cymrococh Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Keep him away from Fulham. Express in "Diana riddle solved"?
Guest BigChief Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Prince Charles will be momentarily spluttering in his mid-morning tea when he reads the headlines tomorrow morning!
Maldini Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I've seen him a few times, not enough to build up a definite opinion as I wasn't really watching out for him, but from what I remember he beats players for fun is pretty quick but can't cross at all.

RiH Harry Kewell can cross the perfectly weighted ball, and Zenden don't even come close to Harry's intelligence on the ball. Fact. imho of course Edited January 10, 2006 by Red in Holland
SkippyjonJones Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 is harry better than Zenden??? f*** - I'm a better crosser of the ball than zenden!!! however lets not forget that way too many of Kewell's crosses end up behind the line.

Don't really like ol' Harry, do ya Mike ? I await your public retractions at the end of the season RiH
Maldini Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 His crosses have set up 3 goals in recent weeks
cymrococh Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Never seen Zenden beat a man but his crossing's been alright sthe few times he's managed to keep the ball long enough. not as good as Harry's mind.
smurfinaus Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Atm only Kewell SG & Finnan seem to be the only decent crossers on our team...
