Liverpool midfielder Bruno Cheyrou has revealed he wants to turn his loan stay with Bordeaux into a permanent one.

 

The 28-year-old is with the Championnat side for the entire season, so far making 13 appearances and scoring once, and told L'Equipe of his desire to stay with Les Girondins.

 

Cheyrou said: "I feel great here. This is a great club and I would love to continue my career here."

 

Its hardly a shocker but I cant believe hes 28!

It's not surprising just a shame that he spent 20 million on a bunch of schite in one summer. If he rated them that highly surely he would have liked to get them for a bargain basement price.

Dang. I never actually noticed this when he played for us.

Still think things could have gone differently for him if ged had used him more from the outset when he actually looked good. By the time he got into the team, he looked to have lost his spark.

Many years ago I met, and spoke to, Julio Iglesias. Even he did not have that effect on me. My wife would have jumped him in the middle of the promenade, but not me.
