Jezzman Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 According to Ekstra Bladet (Danish tabloid), Brondby has raised the price for Agger to 10M euro (almost £7M). Liverpool should already have offered close to £5,5M which apparently wasn't enough for Brondby who now wants £7M. If this is true I really hope we tell them to f*** off, he's overpriced at £5,5M as it is. Article also states that Coloccini's and Cecar's agents was in Liverpool this week to present their players personal terms to LFC.

Stevie H Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 don't seem to be any quotes from brondby in there. and it's not the player's fault if the club try to hold the champions of europe to ransom by the way, can't see why anyone would blame agger himself.

alias75 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 He has 18 months left on his contract and wont sign a new one, if he wants to come here Brondby arent reallyin a position to play hard ball. We could sign someone else in January and get him for peanuts next season with his contact almost up.
Guest JV Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 If true we should tell them to f*** off and move on. I hear Pellegrino's available .

G Richards Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 If Agger is now going for £7M, perhaps we are getting close to Kompany money (my guess around £10M). Maybe we should put in a bid for the Kompany. He has a lot of experience for his age too.
McBain Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Onto the next one then If Brondby want to play silly buggers we should just pull out
Guest prudent Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Cesar has gone to Bolton on loan so I guess that Deportivo is in no hurry to sell.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Ekstrabladet.dk is the danish equivelant of the s*n1144465 Not even close. Ekstrabladet is the worst we have, but there is a long way down to the pile of mud that is the British tabloids. And their sports department isn't bad. Dansk jävlar 1144553 Quality series that, innit?
