Guest snez1 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 "We had to find solutions to the problems we had in the first half and we needed to use the wingers more. Sinama Pongolle did very well when he came on and he, Gerrard and Cisse caused Luton problems." Notice how Rafa mentioned Djib in there. He skinned their left full back time and again. yes his finishing wasn't up to scratch tonight but f*** me he was a lot better than Flo was at Bolton. This thread is a f***ing joke.
anny road Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 ok maybe I am being a touch contrary... But I said to Sutty after, when Flo plays like this, he looks like the player Cisse should be........ I think they both have issues to be honest, but Cisse is not my flavour of the month
Bailo Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 but based on their respective careers, there is only one delusional knee-jerk lunatic1143907

Guest The Defender Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 They are both good with buckets of potential... and with a bit of fine tuning and hard work they can both be great great players.. I believe that if Cisse soughts his attitude probs out he can be as good.. maybe better than Henry one day. Pongolle hasn't had much first team play this season.. no complaints.. he's just got his head down and got on with it.

Guest snez1 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 not arsed what he says Cisse was f***ing awful tonight1143917 No he wasn't. Certainly no where near as bad as Flo at Bolton. The kid scores 2 goals and suddenly because Djib missed a couple of chances, Flo's a beter player? f***in knee jerk bollokcs mate. Le Tallec has scored more for Sunderland than Flo has for us, i think he is better than Cisse too because Djib was s**** tonight.

Apart from that, he was a whole lot more dangerous than Crouchy.

anny road Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 deffo go off the boil last 3 matches.1143935 three??? He was ok v WBA..................
Mike Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 three??? He was ok v WBA..................1143940 he scored a good header but i think he was and has been poor since.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Don't think the penalty was that poor. he hit it hard and with an angle. most of those go in. the keeper did well although it also could have been placed better. Cisse skinned the leftback on numerous occasions and provided an assist. He could have skied a handful of open chances and still not be sh*t.

Guest snez1 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 do you want to get off your high horse and see what I posted eariler??????1143934 No, i want this knee jerk s*** about Cisse to stop popping up whenever he misses a f***ing chance. He was one of our most threatening players tonight and was very good when he went further wide in the second half. The fact that Rafa acknowledges this as well as other people on here leaves me with enough belief that this is true. Yes, it was a bad penalty, yes it was a bad touch whjen clean through, but f*** me apart from that he wasn't bad at all (certainly no where near as bad as Crouch for example) yet he still gets rations of s*** off people. Pongolle better than Cisse? f***ing hell, it's a sick joke. How many caps for France has Flo got? How many goals i his career? It's a sick joke.
Spike Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I wish Djib had Flo's attitude, workrate and positivity. Flo is one of the players that I really don't want to leave

But you seem to generally let the mistakes he makes totally overshaow any good he might do in a match. Including this one.
