M4TTA Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 You should check the spurs fansite aswell there as bitter as the blueshltes, well nearly 1143820 completley off topic, but a mate at work loves reading some of the threads on here and is a spurs fan. He's quite jealous that YNWA is something he's not come accross as a spurs fan. Could you e-mail me the fan site so i can forward it on to my friend please?

Benitez Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Thread from a Spurs forum I love how everyone else is crying about Carson not getting sent off - but conveniently forget to mention that the Luton players should also have been sent off if that was the case.

Joshytoohotty Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 My Man United fan mate informed me of the following: It's apperently pathetic that we nearly lost to a side that aren't even in the Championship Yes, spot the knowledgable Manc's deliberate mistake. Alonso, a player that he "dosen't rate" was apperently lucky with the first goal, and "should have passed" for the second, so he is effectively s****, apperently. We also should be worried, due to losing 3-1 to a Championship team (this is after I let him know what division Luton are in) of course he omitted the 4 goals that we scored and incidently omitted United drawing 0-0 with Exeter City last season. It gives you that smug sense of satisfaction when you know that fans all over the country are creaming themselves at the thought of us slipping up, only for us to go and score 5 and f*** the lot of them over.

Now they have a lovely energy-sapping replay (OK they should win it without much sweat but it's still energy consuming).

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I like the bit where they're arguing over whether it's Gerrard, Alonso or Carragher that make us a one man team.1143805 couldn't make that upPosts merged: even if the foul on Gerrard was indeed a foul then it wasn't a red card offence as it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity, even though Gerrard was the last man He was 2 feckin yards out
Spike Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Thread from a Spurs forum I love how everyone else is crying about Carson not getting sent off - but conveniently forget to mention that the Luton players should also have been sent off if that was the case. Anyone fancy going back on that forum to talk about comebacks?

Benitez Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Anyone fancy going back on that forum to talk about comebacks? I love this comment on that Spuds forum: One poster writes this: alonso's 2 goals must have been form over 110 yards in total, has anyone ever seen a goal from such distance? And gets this reply:Oh stop w***ing yourself off. Every professional footballer would have scored the second one. In fact I'm pretty sure I could. Edited January 8, 2006 by Benitez
Jonesy Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I sent a text to spurs mate, who was sent me several annoying texts at 3-1 yesterday....it simply read 'Oops!'
DGMO Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yes indeed, he had an open net, but with a defender and 65 yards in between. And on his weaker foot
Guest hemal Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Anyone got the Bluekipper thread from the CL final.
spencer Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 These threads work both ways ? if you read the first half of the Liverpool threads you get a mirror image of Bluekipper and the like: From TalkLFC: ?3-1 luton, i'm off to work, (censored) disgraceful, you bunch of...Liverpool supporters have traveled 5-6 hours to get to luton, and this is how you repay us....(censored) DISGRACE? Then FSP comes on: ?My God Pongolle is so s**** - can we just never sign French players ever again? I think I'm traumatised for life.? FSP scores his first goal: ?He is s**** - scoring that goal doesn't make him less s****? FSP scores again: ?He is s**** - I stand by that. However, I must admit this is the first time I have seen him play like the striker we were promised he would be. Now, this is knackered Championship opposition but both finishes were well taken none the less.? From YNWA: At 1-3: someone says ?we will be lucky to get the replay at this rate? Which elicits the response: ?hahahahaha 3 goals in 30 minutes. This isn't Istanbul, you know? From RAWK: At 1-3 again: ?Had enough of watching this s***. I'm off for a shower'Shower' being the operative word for this? And lots more this kind! To be fair many fans did stay positive at 3-1 down though.
fyds Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 After all these years it amazes me that people nvere learn that it ain't over until it's over. How many times have so many of us been at a game to see the old Kemlyn or thesedays Centenary mob funneling out when we've been losing to get an early bus or 'before the rush' only to miss great comebacks? Play to the feckin whistle - and support to the whistle too.
anfield Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 still waiting for that old thread from bluekipper
Nebraska Red Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 my own personal favorite from the Barcodes website "Personally I think motson is one of the worst commentators on TV, I wish he'd lift his tongue out of Rooney's ring, put his dick away and stop dreaming of the European cup final and **** off! " a sentiment that many of us will agree with.
Redkop Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 From the Spurs site.... surely the kiss of death Posted: Sat Jan 07, 2006 6:25 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No premiership team out so far. Statistically at least one premiership team will be eliminated, and it won't be us.
Montse Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I was in the pub saturday watching the match - my spurs and manure mates were all crowing saying we were lucky, it would never happen to them etc - oh how I larfed yesterday!
drdooom Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Liverpool supporters have traveled 5-6 hours to get to luton, and this is how you repay us....(censored) DISGRACE? He posted that from his wireless in the stands then.
