How bothered will you be if we lose tomorrow?

Couldn't care less.

See it as a great chance to give the youth team a run out.

I want us to win and go all the way. I hated going out to Burnley and I hate the way the FA Cup is viewed as irrelevant by so many. Call me an old fart if you like but I'm old enough to remember our first ever FA Cup win against Leeds. It mattered then and as far as I'm concerned, it still matters. The final is still a big occasion, watched around the world and still the best national knockout competition anywhere in the world.

Very, very gutted. History beckons for us, either the first at Wembley or the last at Cardiff.

All Cats better beware if we get beaten tomorrow.

I think everyone will be upset if we get turfed out tomorrow. Everyone here is always upset if we lose a game. You cant hide your feelings at the full time whistle and a win cheers everyone up.

I, like Rafa and the boys, always want to win !

Obviously I'll be upset if we lose. Like I said, I want us to win the FA Cup and probably once the game gets underway I'll feel the same as every other game.

Its just that at the moment, I'm not feeling it like normal.

Should we fail to retain the Champions League, then winning the FA Cup would put a very nice shine on a top 3 finish in the Premiership. I think it would be great to win it again and would futher boost our ever increasing confidence levels.

Gutted, angry, inconsolable, suicidal, violent, crying, freaked.

That pretty much sums it up. The day I am not bothered about getting knocked out of ANY trophy is the day I will be concerned I am getting too big for my boots and taking the club for granted.

Remember crying in 71 and 77, going ape in 86 and 89, 92 was a bit flat, 88 and 96 are complete memory wipes but 2001 still makes me pinch myself. The FA Cup is great and I'd love another final.

I understand the rest for the players but this is the FA Cup and as stated above, we exist to win trophies.

i'd be gutted if we lost, who remembers league placements in 10, 20 years unless it was 1st? You remember winning trophies though, especially the fa cup. After istanbul, the 2001 fa cup final was my best LFC moment of the last 10-15 years.

I love the Football Association Challenge Cup :D

It will help us concentrate on the league.

Um, excuse me?

Is that really necessary?

Personally I want us to be like the Liverpool of old and be challenging for everything. I think it is a real shame these days that clubs chose to play sub par teams in the Cup competitions. Obviously the CL and finishing higher in the league is the main priority this season. However, the FA Cup gives the fans some great memories and a chance to go to another final.

The 2-1 fourth round defeat to the mancs goes down as one of my worst days watching Liverpool. I would be gutted if we go out tomorrow.

I'll be pretty cheesed off. I think the performance / attitude of the players is important to monitor tomorrow.

We treated last weeks dropping of points against Bolton Troglodytes like it was the loss of a Cup Final. A good sign in many ways.

But what was NOT a good sign was that we were lucky enough to draw and some of the players (Sami, Steve Finnan, Carra, Crouch) looked absolutely whacked. Some (Most?) of these will play tomorrow, and I'm a little concerned about that.

i find it impossible to believe that you lot think so little of rafa. i'd say with some degree of certainty he can compete in more than one competition per year. would you prefer the FA Cup sitting in united's or chelsea's cabinet?

he wants silverware - we all f***ing do!

Not remotely bothered this year.  FA Cup FA schmup.

Not bothered ??.. I despair.

We should win all we can with the team we have. Year in, Year out.

The great managers can achieve that. I want to see Rafa win at least everything on offer, at least once in his time with us.

And btw.. bouncing off an FA cup in Cardiff, and waltzing to Dortmund to win the UEFA cup, having already won the League Cup.. was one of the best seasons I have had, for many reasons. Maybe coz I had to wait so long to see it happen again.

The more trophies the better, hopefully crowned with the premiership to start with.

I want us to win but i also want Rafa to make several changes. It's been a long season already, we've been to the other side of the world and played several games in the last month and it's going to be cold. Senior players should be given a rest.

Start with Riise, Didi, Cisse, Kewell, Garcia, Sinama and a few of the reserves.

Anyone who doesn't care if we win can f*** right off.

We are here to win trophies, the FA Cup not good enough anymore.

I went to Burnley twice last season and will be there tomorrow.

I want us to win every f***ing game we play, any who don't can always support some losing teams.
