MarkD Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Wow! Viera, Thuram, Ballack, Ibrahmovic, Del Piero - all those egos in one dressing room! (all getting on a bit too!)

Tosh Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Good, I had a fear that he was going to add to the new faces in Salford

Nerik Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 Ballack is never a Vieira replacement. They can easily play together in the same team. Link is here http://www.calciomercato.com/modules.php?name=titolone ..........in Italian though. Basically it says: The mystery surrounding Michael Ballack's future continues. However, according to sources in Germany the midfielder signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus that will see him join them on the 1st of July 2006. Despite the ongoing war of words between the directors of both clubs (Bayern and Juve) and talk of the many clubs interested in Ballack (Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Man Utd), both Moggi (Juventus director) and Rumenigge have admitted in private that the midfielder is off to Turin.

Having a large ego doesn't neccesarily mean you can't be a team player. Look at Cruyff.
Hassony Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I don't think ballack is bad as the likes of effenberg and shuster (sp?), he does lood very arrogant but he strikes me as an excellent team player for both bayern and germany. would have been the only replacement if gerrard had left.
