Wow! Viera, Thuram, Ballack, Ibrahmovic, Del Piero - all those egos in one dressing room! (all getting on a bit too!)

Ibrahmovic is only 24-25

Zlatan is the only one of thgose with an inflated ego. the rest strike me as team players all the way.

You don't think Ballack has an oversized ego at then?

Ballack is never a Vieira replacement. They can easily play together in the same team. Link is here http://www.calciomercato.com/modules.php?name=titolone

..........in Italian though.

Basically it says:

The mystery surrounding Michael Ballack's future continues. However, according to sources in Germany the midfielder signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus that will see him join them on the 1st of July 2006. Despite the ongoing war of words between the directors of both clubs (Bayern and Juve) and talk of the many clubs interested in Ballack (Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Man Utd), both Moggi (Juventus director) and Rumenigge have admitted in private that the midfielder is off to Turin.

I am not an expert on germany footie, but from what I've heard and seen, he seems able to keep it in check.

Having a large ego doesn't neccesarily mean you can't be a team player. Look at Cruyff.

I don't think ballack is bad as the likes of effenberg and shuster (sp?), he does lood very arrogant but he strikes me as an excellent team player for both bayern and germany.

would have been the only replacement if gerrard had left.
