Ronnie Whelan Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 "I know how popular a winger John Barnes was here at Liverpool but his heyday was a bit before my time and I don't remember seeing him play that much. From what I've heard about him though he was pretty special and is someone I aspire to be like." Here's hoping.
johngibo YPC Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 His picture makes me feel dead old. And i'm only 23!
PhilM Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 How come he can get on of those CL shirts Bloody favouritism.

psl Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 We're now happy when players say they didn't support us!
Guest jjasonuk Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Jesus mate if you feel old at 23 theres no hope for me at 32! He looks like a child about 14-15 to me but I am now considered ancient

Refreshing to see a youngster come out and not give the usual PR bulls*** interview.

I'm just saying its a sign of how cynical fans have become that we're actually pleased that he hasn't said he supported us. Its like the reactions to players that kiss badges. Players have become so see through and obvious in their attempts to garner favour with fans that nowadays we prefer it when they don't bother! "So Paul, what's it like joining Liverpool?" "Well, its alright because they're paying me s*** loads more than Hull did. Still, I can't stand the f***ing city or the load of robbing, Scouse w*****s that live here. Always hated the football club too. That Dalglish was very overrated and Everton would've won a load of European Cups if it weren't for them. Always preferred United. Anyway, I'm off to read The Sun with Diouffy."
